CW: 142.3Aww. Oh darn. Despite my small gain this week (and multi-pound gain for the month), I did pretty well this week. I've been focusing on eating 'real' food to properly fuel me throughout the day and for my workouts, opposed to the junk food that I was eating. More veggies and healthy carbs, less corn dogs and hot pockets.
I've also been revving up my running this week, trying to prepare for my half marathon in October. So lots of good things happening that just didn't result in a loss this week. But I feel a lot better this week.

Just got back from a quick trip to Ocean City NJ to visit and meet some of my son’s partner’s relatives. We lucked into an Airbnb across the street from their place so it really made things easy. OC is a lovely town, very bikeable and walkable. I did a fair amount of walking and my son commented that it’s the best he’s seen of me getting around in a few years!
Now that I’m home I need to tighten my diet-I’ve been eating too much junk and I don’t want to fall back into that habit again!

Fri 8/29: 10,129I had to walk on the treadmill before bed last night to get to 10,000 steps.
Being inspired by Frank's post about earning the 10,000 steps a day Garmin badge, I have decided to set that badge as my goal. I've currently done 7 out of the 30 days so far.

Hi all, I have been recovering from a hysterectomy I had late June.This meant lots of rest & no lifting at all.My hubby & youngest son have had to take charge of everything laundry,cooking & cleaning.Its been quire a learning curve for them lol.My eldest son moved into his new home 2 weeks before .He's not gone far only 5 mins walk from us.
I started going for slow short walks about 2 weeks ago.I went to a Dance fit class this week & just took it very slowly.I couldn't do high impact before my op due to a prolapse so nothing has changed there.It was great to be back & got a lovely welcome from the teacher Lisa & my dancing buddies.
@jessicakrall8 & @frankwbrown I do want to remain on support for the whole of September.I go to Greece on holiday & will return in October.I would like to join the step challenge for September please.Just 10,000 steps to start with.I will hopefully be back to logging my food & weighing in weekly starting the first Saturday in October.Looking forward to joining the group again. 😃

Got you in the step challenge for the month and left you in support til Oct. Thanks for always giving us notice in advance.
Glad your recovery is going well and that you're getting your strength and routines back in order. It makes such a difference in our moods, doesn't it?! Also glad your supportive family were on hand to pitch in and help while you were recovering from surgery. Enjoy your time in Greece, as I know you do…look forward to your pictures so we can all be jealous! LOL

I finished a couple loads of laundry, and I’ve been moving a lot of furniture today because we are replacing most of the windows in our house on Wednesday. It’s reminding me how much junk I have stashed away! So, I hope it motivates me to make some progress with my decluttering.
I have a personal trainer appointment in about half an hour but then I’ll get ack to work! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
