CW: 142.2Dang. But I knew I would be up. Last week was not a 'real' loss, just a result of not eating much at all, due to the depression. But I'm feeling much better this week. The new medication has helped tremendously, I am functional again!
But I still haven't been eating good. Just easy to grab junk for the most part. And the gym has been pretty spotty, due to both energy levels (which are improving thanks to the meds) and life getting in the way.
The good news is my boys will be going to my mom's this weekend. I'm so grateful for my mom being able and willing to look after them. I'm ready for a break. They have been a lot lately. I'll have some time to focus on me and my goals. I'm planning to spend some time working on a meal plan and just refocusing on my goals.

CW: 135.2I’m just catching up on reading everyone’s posts. What a busy crazy week this has been. Husband is having his colonoscopy today; you’d think he’s the first person to ever have one😂. The complaining has been non-stop. Good grief what a baby!! My family and I are just giggling away, through our text messages, as he laments on the “torture” he’s been going through. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️! I am getting ready for eye surgery #2 on 9/2. This will remove the cloudiness I’m experiencing from the cataract surgery. And then we work towards surgery #3 to tweak my vision. The end is near!! I hope lol. But I’m happy to see the 2 lbs I gained in NY are gone plus an extra pound! And I’m going to see Lady Gaga in concert with my daughter next weekend!! Gotta get those dancing shoes ready!!💃

I'm a bit disappointed with my running this weekend. I planned a long run (10-12 miles) on Saturday and a short recovery run today. But that didn't happen. I only managed 8 miles yesterday, and my body was dead today and only did about half a mile before throwing in the towel, and just walked a couple of miles instead.
I have no doubt that my horrible diet lately is to blame. My diet of crappy food just isn't enough to sustain me. It is a wake up call, for sure. If I want to meet my running goals, focusing on calories alone just isn't enough. I need some quality food for energy.
I did some meal planning and grocery shopping yesterday, so I actually have some real food in the house. Today I'm going to spend some time in the kitchen to prepare for a (hopefully) more successful week.
