I'm down 0.8 Kg for the week (~1.8 pounds). Monday was the first time I stepped on (or even owned) a scale since July 10th, so it's been an interesting personal experiment. I really didn't have managing my weight on my priority list for the past 6+ weeks, so I'm happy that I was still under my WW goal weight when I finally got back on a scale. With that said, I was near the top of my personal range, so it wasn't perfect by any means.

Now that we're getting settled here in Israel, I've put my managing my weight back onto my priority list (though, there are other things that are higher-priority right now, mostly related to getting settled in).

I felt like I was getting back on my personal plan this past week, and I was already starting to see some weight come off. I would have been down a lot more today, if it weren't for the Chinese food we had last night (it was probably that).

I also managed to run 5 days this week. I was pretty pleased about that.

82.6/64.5/66.2 (all Kg :-) )—trying to really get used to the metric system here!

Good morning. Down 2#, but that still leaves me in the Red Zone, and I did not make my free lifetime weigh-in this month.

    Down 0.2 from last week.

Now for my "big reveal". Saw my PCP this week, and, because of current heart/lung issues, she put me on Ozempic. Yes, should help with weight loss, but should mitigate the breathing issue. We've been chasing that for about 5 years.

I'll try to remember weekly to post updates here on this thread.

IWIW dept, sugar levels down significantly the last 2 mornings.

Even for the week. I would have had a loss, but I ruined a good week on Thursday night.

Down 1.6. I tracked everything all week and made thoughtful estimates, when needed and hit my weekly calorie target. The main thing I focused on was limiting junk food. I'll rate my overall focus somewhere between a 6-7. I need to remember I don't have to be perfect to get results. I need more weeks like this in terms of effort expended.

Al, glad you're going to get some relief with the breathing issue.

Al— I hope Ozempic helps with your breathing issues The GLP-1 drug class has lots of side benefits in addition to weight loss. A number of people are taking low doses to reduce heart attack risk, dementia, chronic inflammation, and insulin resistance for starters.

Down 1.0 YYD Minus 10.2 ( First time this year below 10 lbs. Will I make it to -15 by the end of the year? That will put me within 10 lbs of the high end of normal weight range)

Down 3.2 lbs this week. That's certainly trending in the right direction. Keeping it going if the main thing. Long weekend so we'll see.

@Al_Howard that's good news. I was in Ozempic a couple of years ago for weight loss but had to get off it. My insurance stood paying for it and $400 per month was too much for me. It didn't help my appetite that much.

@steveOmania Glad your getting settled in and getting back to your routine.

For what it’s worth, my goal weight is eleven pounds over the top of the BMI range.

I forgot to say that I'm up 3.8 for the year. That's the short-term number I'm focused on. Grrr.

Charlie— My problem is visceral fat. I’d be happy with a higher weight goal but my visceral fat ( measured ny DEXA scan) is 5.8 lbs, normal being < 2 lbs. Increased visceral fat drives chronic inflammation which drives heart disease. I really need to get the visceral fat ( a toxic waist ) lower.
