I am so sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. Even though I never met either one of you, I could see through your words how much love you both shared. That bond came through so strongly, and it touched my heart. Please know that I am holding you close in my thoughts and wishing you comfort in this difficult time. We are here for you.

    Good Morning Slims,

So Thursday I went to Ross and bought me a new outfit. I wanted to know what size I was. I am in a size 6 jeans and Lg shirt depending on the way it is made Some shirts I can wear a med. This made me even more curious so I cleaned out my closets. I have 3. I moved all my xl tops and size 12 jeans to my craft room closet. In my room I have an everyday closet and a special occasion closet. Now this is where things got real. Some of my special clothes are 12 to 15 yrs. old but still in really good shape. I tried on a dress that was a 10 and it was still a bit snug and my leather skirt Size 10 I could not zip. My size 8 Leather pants I could fit but had a muffin top. It is so crazy how clothing has changed over the years. With tomorrow starting my new week I am turning my focus towards building muscle. I know this is going to cause weight fluctuation which I am ok with as I will be focusing on losing inches not lbs.

    Have a great day.

    Hi 👋

Yesterday was a good day. I cleaned up my garden window.

I went through my cd's. I found some I forgot I had, so yesterday was Meatloaf, 3rd Eye Blind and 3 doors down. I danced a little and it was pretty awesome. Today, I'm expecting a couple Ozzy cd's. Lol… yes, I still buy them 😂😂😂

It's safe to say that this new medication is what I needed. I am feeling much better and I have energy that I haven't had in a long time.

For the first time in a while I logged all my food yesterday. I'm trying to get back on track.

    Y'all have a great day 😀

Hi friends, peeking in to check on everyone. Still have my foster kitten, he wasn't adopted today. Saw one of my fosters (Wobbly one) and he looks incredible. Bummed as another of my foster's adopters came in right after I left but heard he's doing wonderful and is close with his new sister, would've loved to see his pictures. I tried a new pumpkin chocolate chip energy ball recipe and a baked oatmeal recipe I made for a garden cleanup tomorrow that fell through. May take what's left to share at the farm. Planning on getting stuff done in my yard tomorrow. My roommate should be back next weekend looking forward to seeing her! Have a great Sunday.

    @TeresaW2024 🙏 and ❤️, thinking of you.

    Happy Sunday!

Gus's eye problem is suspected to be a reaction to a bug bite or sting. He got a couple shots at the vet and was good all day. At bedtime Friday, it flared up again and he (and me) were miserable all night. He was very droopy yesterday. I talked to the vet and she added an oral steroid and he seems to be doing much better now.

@TeresaW2024 - I said a prayer for you this morning

@trooworld - I feel like I've hit the point in my weight loss journey where there is less room for cheats and errors. My confidence has dropped a bit- but all it will take is a week with a loss for that to bump up again. I want to work hard between now and the holidays- and then NOT GAIN during the holidays. Anyway, I addressed this to you because I thought you might have similar feelings.

@DrewsAnna - glad the new med is working and you are able to dance to your favorite tunes

@Katmary71 - I'm torn between wanting your kitten to be adopted soon and wanting you to keep it a little bit longer. Interesting how last time they were gone so quick and this one is taking longer. Both are challenging in different ways. That's great that your roommate will be back soon!

@txcritter69 - that is so interesting about the vanity sizing. Thanks for sharing that

@baodell17724 - time to get back to work now. You can do this!

@bobboyardee - look at you, building a streak again!

@vegan4lyfe2012 - Your "Lisa the goat" story made me smile, because I am Lisa and I have a goat story. When I was little, we were at a place where you feed the goats. My memory is that one of the goats decided to butt me. And I got scared and ran, and it chased me, butting me all across the yard. And no one helped me (parents). I asked my Mom about it as an adult and she said it did not happen that way. But I still dislike goats and am suspicious of them. This has now turned into a joke with my husband and kids whenever goats come up. Which, thankfully, is not that often!

    SW(Starting Weight): 180 lbs.

    PW(Previous Weight): 132.8 lbs.

    CW(Current Weight): 134.8 lbs.

@19shmoo69 and @vegan4lyfe2012 - You too are hilarious!!! @bobboyardee - Keep it up…don't let anyone have your $$$.

@TeresaW2024 – I hope you find comfort in the wonderful memories of the times you and Joe shared together. Big hugs and prayers for you.

@txcritter69 - That is so cool that you can fit into those smaller sizes. You should be very proud.

@DrewsAnna- Those are some good Cd's. I like "Paradise by the dashboard lights". I'm going to go through and listen to some of my old cd's today.

@Cornanda and @trooworld - I'm right with you. My feelings are very similar. I need to get real with myself too.

I have been maintaining between 131 lbs. and 135 lbs. for almost a year now. That is not my intentions. I want to get down to 120 lbs. I came back here thinking, with a little support, I would get the motivation to finally get those lbs. off. I've been working out, 19 days out of the past 20. Except, I've been eating back the calories I've burned. Last night was a huge fail for me. My husband bought a bag of reese's peanut butter cups. I ate 5. So,for the first time in a while, I went over on calories. Why not? This is all starting to feel pointless to me. Maybe this is just what I'm supposed to weigh.

Today, I'm going to evaluate what has been working for me and where I would like to improve.

@trooworld - I have no idea why using AI to look up things is never in the forefront of my mind. Thanks! That creamer sounds so yummy! Glad you were able to find something that was a delicious substitute :-) It rained off and on all day yesterday, which made it extremely muggy, but we all still had fun. And my goat was the sweetest thing ever :-) I'm sorry petunia was a booger LOL

@cornanda - Your goat story made me snort out loud! I'm sorry you were so traumatized. Goats are so much fun! The only negative about Lisa the Goat was that she pooped a lot and she liked to try to eat my clothes.

I feel like this medication is going to really help me control my appetite. I just warmed up one breadstick and a partially eaten slice of pizza for my lunch. I ate the breadstick and was full! I set my pizza slice off to the side. I ended up eating it about 10 minutes later, just because it was there beside me. But I wasn't really hungry. 100% habit. And now I'm too full! So now I have to learn that, just because I heat something and it's right in front of me, it doesn't mean that I have to eat it. I can let things cool down and refrigerate them for later.

We'll see how I feel when I walk into the theater this evening and the smell of popcorn hits my olfactory. We're going to watch HIM tonight. One of my favorite YouTubers did a spoiler free review. Sounds like it's not as deep as what the previews made it seem. But it's supposed to be extremely gory :-) I'll let you all know how it goes.

    2025 is MY year!

Last night was good - I kind of "added on" to my final meal. The lesson learned was that the check-in should happen after all food is finished. I will stop saying "after this i'm done" - because then there is a little wiggle room there.

It's funny, my compulsive/addict side is SUCH a clever lawyer, always finding loopholes!

Still keeping the streak going, had a good day yesterday and going to today. Going to try to JOURNAL today (God forbid)
