I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting such a poor showing from my members this month, like worse than normal Week One showings. It's giving me anxiety haha

Um yeah…I have noticed that too. Even for last month. A few people have been having a hard time finding where to join the team so I've been sending invites...but I can already see 6 still have yet to join the group...
Any thoughts on how to improve this?

Yes…having the same problem with the Weekly Group Challenges…I'm not sure…perhaps it's end of summer/start of school issues where everyone's schedules are all upside down…hoping the rest of this month and October will get better.
Not sure of how to pick things up…it's hard to get anyone to participate other than posting their weigh-ins and that's frustrating for me. You just can't make people chat/discuss/participate…painful really!

Captains, I have a vacation coming up October 12-18th. Is there someone who would volunteer to do the Group Challenge for me that week? I'm not traveling, but really need a mental and physical break that week. Please let me know. Thanks!

Not unless Cape Cod moves to Virginia! I'm going to be home, but really need to take a mental break, so will just be spending "me" time with Betty and doing some stuff around the house and in my community. I appreciate your willingness to take on the challenge that week. Completely up to you what you choose to do, just post it on Saturday, the 11th to begin on the 12th. Thanks again…I'll pop in to say hi sometime that week. Thank you again!

Registrations are open for next month! I know we have been having folks sign up and then not weigh in. Any thoughts about maybe adding the new members your team as friends when they sign up to be able to reach out to them if they don't check in? I have also tried inviting them to the group, which has helped a few, but not most.

@lauren_989 - I noticed that a lot of my new members sign up for the challenge and then do not come back onto MFP as a site at all (often, their official MFP join date is the same as their date last seen). Adding them as friends may not help, unfortunately. Things that have helped in the past:
- Reminding them to bookmark their team's chat
- Telling them to introduce themselves in the chat the first time they open it up
- Adding their weigh-day to their calendar (if they use one)
Obviously, your mileage may vary (mine certainly does), but those things can help sometimes. The beginning of the school year is always a hard time to keep things active.

@lauren_989 I reached out to daffygirl88 this week and received a response back. She's been slowly losing motivation and just needed some time away to get her head on straight and get refocused. Not sure when, but I have a feeling she'll come back to the SS team soon. Just wanted to let you know that she's ok.
