    The top one started off with a nice shoulder roll. Then kept getting harder with each exercise. But the second one had a lot of floor exercises which I was definitely liking more. Reminded me a bit of yoga at times. Nice choices Chris

    My little shih tzu Libby has to have surgery on her back leg. The knee cap keeps popping out. Dr. Holmes gave us a 10% discount for being 65. And an extra 5% for the work we do on their aquarium. He actually said he noticed how much cleaner it is looking. We are really hoping that Libby gets a new outlook on life. She is such a little sweetheart.

    Shelley, I hope Libby does well with her surgery. The Doc sounds like a great guy!

    Had Collin this morning and my trainer at noon. Collin was still here when I got home from my session. SIL p/u Ronan at 1:10 and brought him here. Kid switch and Ronan was ours for the rest of the afternoon. Pat helped me chop veggies for soup since the store didn't have diced bell peppers, diced celery or diced onion…it was a bit strange. The soup turned out great.

    My foot is getting better each day.

    I will do better this month. I expect to be released and start doing more workouts.

    Well, I tried walking today. I went around the block and up one park path, but it didn't work out. My foot was so angry after less than a half mile!! It is still angry 8 hours later. I sent my Doc and email asking for an exray or office visit. I haven' heard back yet. I was hoping the walk would work out. It's been almost 7 weeks since my last walk to the post office.😕

    We had Collin this morning and Ronan this afternoon. Tomorrow will be our last day with them until after Fall Break next week.

    Chris I am not sure if the horses were recovered. I sure hope so. The exploding potato sounds awesome.

    I hope you hear back from your doctor soon. I was so hopeful for you. I think Libbys doctor could squeeze you in. 😘 I am very hopeful for her. I think he popped her knee back in when he was examining her. She has been doing better since her checkup.

    Kathy what type of workout are you hoping to be doing soon? I can't believe how well you have been doing with your weight goal. Great going.

    I am under 150 finally. 146.4 this morning. Now to dip a little lower. Did a Body Pump class today. It was great.

    I have 3 more PT sessions. Will see the orthopedist on the 15th and will know what I can do. I’m pretty much pain free but will take it easy. Will continue to do my at home stretches and workouts and plan to add arms, abs and walking and:or recumbent depending on the weather.

    Shelley congrats on getting to the 140s I’m hoping to get there soon. How is your mom? I was sorry to hear about her fall.

    Chris so sorry to hear about your foot pain. I know it is frustrating for you not to be able to walk. Take care.

    Thank you, my friends. Nothing from the Doc yet. Probably Monday.

    We had Collin this morning, Pat p/u Ronan from school…early release…we had both boys for about an hour then I left to meet up with my trainer for a 60 min brutal workout. Sara and Pete p/u the boys and headed for Disneyland. it'll be kinda quiet for the next three days.

    I'm reading now.

    Okay, I got to sleep until 8:45 this morning and have done nothing but watch silly Rom-cons all day long. We will not be having the boys for a few days. Got a couple of cute pics from Disney.

    Kathy thanks. Now if I can stay there. My mom is doing better. Had her icing for a few days. We are going to the Silver Fox for dinner tomorrow night. Celebrating my birthday with my mom for the first time in years. Then taking her home on Wednesday. Probably just half way. Meeting my sister and then returning home.

    Our darling little Libby is having her knee surgery on Wednesday also. Pick up on Thursday.

    Still at 145.8 this morning. I will take it.

    Got my trainer for a 60 min workout at noon. Then I'm going to sit, read and drink coffee. I have not heard from my doctor about my foot yet.

    I have 2 more PT sessions then see the doctor next Wednesday. I’m doing my st home workouts daily and thinking about rejoining Planet Fitness if approved by the orthopedist.

    Chris I ate cake with ice cream! Hopefully you hear from your doctor soon.

    My mom goes back tomorrow. We will meet my sister about halfway there. Libby goes into the vets first for her surgery. It will be a really long day.

    Went in for my exray and second Covid shot this morning. Nothing broken in my foot so I just gotta wait a little bit longer until it stops hurting. We went in early and we were done with both things in an hour! It was amazing that when we got to the parking lot there were a lot of places to park…a lot! When were left an hour later, the parking lot was packed! So glad we did it that way even if I didn't get to sleep in!!!

    Then we came home, and I finished cleaning the house for our housekeeper.

    Now, it's my evening of reading and being lazy!

    Got to sleep in this morning because my trainer has a headache issue. I hope it's nothing serious. It looks like they won't be moving for about a year. House market here is not good for buyers…their realtor said she thought they were asking too much. It was hard for them cuz a house down the street went for a million!! Anyway…😁

    One of my doctor's suggestion was getting on the bike…sigh…okay, that's my plan after a whole bunch of coffee. 🤐ugh! Funny thing…I was looking at some of my really old exercise logs…I used to walk and bike and do our list of exercises…everyday!! I used to complain when I was in the 140s cuz I wasn't in the 130's…Holy molly!! I need to be thankful that I'm still here…right? Right.

    Well, time to start my morning!

    No bike today. Got to sleep in until 9:45!! Sara lost her Fitbit watch during their last adventure to Disneyland. I managed to find it today on Amazon for a lot less than Prime Day yesterday!! Going to surprise her tomorrow. Ronan has a blood draw in the morning and they will come over with donuts to celebrate his bravery afterwards. I'll give it to her then.

    Going to continue with my nothing now.😁

    Chris I so am with you. We just never know how good we have it until it's gone. I am happy that you can keep your trainer longer. I think people want to much for home's myself. I feel so bad for young people wanting their first home. But I see it both ways.

    Hmmm, what about icing your foot more. Or rolling it on one of those massage rollers?

    Kathy that is only a little bit in the wrong direction. You just needed to pee more. 🤪 You got this.

    We drove my mom halfway home. Met my sister and had dinner together. Then drove back to Casper. Made for a really long day. Our darling little Libby had knee surgery while we were on the road. Picked her up this morning. We have lots of physical therapy to do with her. Manipulating the leg. Icing it. Meds. No running, jumping or stairs. Poor gal.

    Looks a little like a drum stick. She breaks my heart when she screams though. Hoping for a complete recovery. They gave us another 2% off on top of the 15% for being seniors and cleaning their tank for paying with cash. We have to take her in for laser treatments twice a week for a month.

    Still under 150. Going for 142 by the end of October.

    Thursday - minutes of PT, 20 minutes on recumbent.

    One more PT session Monday and I see the doctor Wednesday. I should be able to start light strength training 3-4 days a week for 30-45 minutes. . As Greg said listen to your body. If there’s pain stop.

    Chris definitely try ice. If there inflammation it helps.

    Shelley take care of Libby. That looks painful. Hopefully her recovery will be fast.

    Kathy, icing right now!! I try for two or three time a day. Greg is right. My trainer is constantly asking if my foot hurts or my knees or my…🤯

    Shelley, I did a whole bunch of exercises today with my trainer today but no push ups…plank, tho…ugh…🤣 How is Libby doing?

    A 60 min workout w/my trainer after donuts w/Ronan after his blood draw this morning. I only had one and a 1/4 of another…too sweet!! Ronan stayed and played video games w/Grandpa. Collin went home with Sara. Pete was at work. A beautiful day here in Northern California!

    Kathy you are so right. Listen to your body. So excited for you. I have been snuggling with Libby all day.

    Chris icing is what works or me. Got me through the academy both times. I want a donut too.

    Update on Libby. Seemed to be able to get around a little more today. Not really putting weight on the foot yet though. Her surgeon said she probably wouldn't for a few days. Icing and doing her physical therapy though. Mostly consists of doing bicycling movements with it. We ice her leg for 15 minutes right before doing it. Making sure to keep the joint moving. 15 times for each exercise for now.

    I have to start back in the gym. To easy to stay home with Libby. And before her my mom. Weight is still holding under 150. Oh and trying to learn how to do some updos with my hair. I need a new look.

    Shelley, It's really better today. I hope this ends soon. Glad Libby is improving.

    I got on the bike this afternoon for 10 miles in 54 mins and 6319 steps. I forgot to put my watch in my sock until about 1/2 way thru my workout, so I'm stealing Wednesday's numbers. Pat helped me put a movie on my phone to watch while I biked, but the phone ended up too far away to see clearly. I held it close most of the time. I did pick a very violent movie, so I was okay with not seeing it to the end.

    Reading now. Hope you all had a good Saturday and will have a great Sunday!

    It rained like crazy yesterday…just clouds so far today…well…until 7:00-8:00 p.m. when we have 85% & 95% chance of more rain!! Crazy! Had to go find a hoodie cuz I got cold in the house!!😮

    Doing nothing now, and that's going to be the rest of my day!!

    it’s official I’ve been released by my doctor from PT. Everything looks good and ant pain is minimal. I have to continue my home workouts which are mostly stretching and core work. I will add cardio and some strength starting tomorrow morning. I was told 3-4 days a week.

    Congrats, Kathy!! Good job!

    We had Collin this morning. Our neighbor across the street put up a 12 foot skeleton at the corner of their house and then a huge ghost picture on his garage door. Collin and I went outside with his trike and he looked at the picture then up at me and said, "I find that disturbing." He's not yet 3 years old!! I'm sure he heard something like that from his mom at one time…WOW!

    I had my trainer at noon for a 60 min workout. I am reading now.

    Well I find that disturbing is so adorable. 🥰 Chris I put movies on my Kindle. And my mom does it on her laptop.

    Kathy that is great news. I couldn't imagine not being able to workout. Like a nightmare.

    My weight this morning was 145.9 Going for 140 by end of November. Libby can now walk more. Going to put her leash on her and try walking her a little. I hope she remembers what a leash is. I did an upper body workout today. It was good.

    I almost destroyed my favorite wool top. Wasn't even thinking when I tossed it in the washer on regular cycle and warm water! It shrunk a little. Could have been worse. It is from WoolX and is 100% wool. I love wool if for no other reason my long hair does not cling to it.
