Howdy Slims,
My name is Sandy I am 56 and I live in Copperas Cove, Tx. with my Husband of 29 yrs. John. Our two fur babies Tigger the cat and Diesel the dog.
We have 2 children, Brittney 38 who is married with 2 boys Ryan 18 and Evin 16. Stephen is 36 and Also married with 3 boys Mason 22, Hayden 20 and Blake 13. I don't seem to have an updated pic of them all. So I will post later.
I have been on this weight loss journey since 2013 when I gained around 50 lbs after my heart attack and quitting smoking. Thanks to @DrewsAnnaI was introduced to Wegovy . I Started it in March and lost roughly 25 lbs. I am on the .5 mg but I am thinking about moving up to 1 mg. I see my Dr. tomorrow to see about it.
Like most the holidays are hard but I hope that this yrs will be a bit easier then last. I have decided that next week is the perfect time to start decorating for Christmas.

I did better yesterday. Hopefully, I can keep it going.
I have been playing Royal Kingdom every night, and staying up way to late. So, I uninstalled it yesterday. When I went to watch my shows (my soaps), I did my journaling and crocheted while watching them. I spend way to much time on my phone on a daily basis. I know this isn't weight loss related, but it's an addiction and I needed to tell someone 😅 it should help with my weight loss journey, right?

@trooworld I have messed up the step tracker. I have managed to make it to small, I can barely read it, and I have to many Octobers and a totally blank one. I was trying to delete the extra October and managed to screw it all up. Will you fix it for me?

I love to rubber stamp (I’m a Stampin’ Up demo) and make cards. I'm a Christian and also love horror movies. I’m a tea freak (I am a tea reviewer) and love love love fun indie nail polishes. I have worked in Community Development at my County for over 20 years. That’s my day job. I also watch my middle grand (Oliver) while my middle child (Syd) works, which is usually Wednesday thru Sunday. I don’t get much time for crafting and movie watching anymore, but at least I can have too much tea!
I have always been a yo-yo dieter, but mostly up. I have 59 pounds to lose (goal is 155). I am, by nature, a Negative Nancy, but I am trying to stay focused and positive. I see my therapist biweekly and he’s been tremendous helping me with understanding that my ADHD causes me to be a dopamine chaser…both with food and acquiring things. We are now working on tools to address it. I started taking Concerta (a low dose ADHD stimulant) 6 weeks ago, so still adjusting to that. I think I need more LOLs.
My Mantra: 2025 is MY year!

Thanks everyone for the cheers on the leaderboard! I really think the Concerta is helping - I lost 10 pounds in about 6 weeks! I did gain back just under 2 pounds with this last weigh in, but it's because I took a week off of work to relax, spend time with the grands, do a little binge-watching (trying to refresh my memory of Stranger Things). I ended up having a bit too much Mexican and Hard Cider (5 days straight…another ADHD hyperfocus LOLs). I'm hoping it's just water retention. I'm such a night owl and have insomnia. Every night I couldn't get to sleep until sometime between 3:30am and 6:00am. Which, of course, caused me to sleep in until 11-ish and also take early evening naps with a behbeh on me :) Last night was rough trying to get back to a better routine. I managed to go to sleep around 2am, so that's quite a bit better.
Oh - and I made it to the theater to see Black Phone 2, Bugonia, and Shelby Oaks. Pros and cons for each of them, but I'd totally watch them all a second time….oops! Ha! Already watched Black Phone 2 twice and headed tonight to see Bugonia again! Hahahaha! Shelby Oaks was my least fave of the three, which sucks cuz I've been following Chris Stuckmann on YouTube for YEARS (this was his first movie he wrote).
Alrighty - back to work for me! Lots to catch up on…
Don't forget to drink your water - have tea, add a flavor packet, add some fresh fruit…heck, even have some coffee, if you like! I heard coffee counts as water now, regardless of it being a diuretic :)

@DrewsAnna Sure , I can help you. It doesn't look screwed up to me (see photo below). Are you looking at it on your phone? I made you a second sheet that starts in November 2025. Try it out, it's called DrewsAnna 2. If that is still too small, I can simplify it and take it down to just date and step columns. I use a blocker app on my phone called Freedom. I use it for shopping but you can use it to block other sites, check it out.

Good morning! I almost forgot to post again. I’ve been busy doing church stuff in the mornings, and now I need to get up and work out. I have to run to Aldi, and later today, I will get my teeth cleaned and see if there is a cavity in one of them. Hopefully, it won’t cost a fortune! Have a good day, everyone! 🙂
DISCUSSION QUESTION: How do you fit in movement on days when life feels too busy? My issue isn’t that my life is too busy, but that I get to doing too many things in the morning, and then I don’t feel like working out. I’m working on changing that by stopping whatever I’m doing no later than 9 am and getting my workout done for the day. It’s now 8:45 am, so I’m off to jump! 😀2 -
DISCUSSION QUESTION: How do you fit in movement on days when life feels too busy? I have my workout plan scheduled. Since I schedule multiple time slots each day, I'll still get a workout even if one of my scheduled times is sacrificed or disrupted. On the days when my schedule becomes chaos and frenzy, I'll take advantage of any opportunity for exercise, especially outdoors. I can usually snatch tidbits of time even on the most hectic day. The main thing is to never miss twice.

Hi, My name is Valeta and I am 51 years old. I live in a tiny town in NW Indiana with my husband and our King Charles, Benny. I have 3 sons and a grandson. I started my journey at 180 pounds. I lost 60 pounds and in the past year started to put back on a few pounds. I recently changed my strategy from maintaining my weight to losing again. I have about 7 pounds that I would like to lose then return to maintaining between 120 lbs. and 125 lbs. I enjoy listening to music, reading books and spending time with my 18 month old grandson.

Hi 👋
Nothing exciting happened yesterday. The weather was nasty and I almost talked myself into spending the day on the couch, but I just started moving around and got a few things done. I was feeling kind of down, so I ate my emotions. I had pizza for dinner, a twix candy bar and some vanilla wafers later. I hated logging and tracking it all, it was NOT good, but I know I don't want to see those numbers again. I was way out of the park!!

DISCUSSION QUESTION: How do you fit in movement on days when life feels too busy? It's not that I get too busy. I just get lazy or in nicer terms, unmotivated. That's why I make a 30 minute workout apart of my morning routine. I also have a daily goal of 250 steps every hour from 9 to 5 set so, I don't sit for long periods of time and I get movement throughout the day.

DISCUSSION QUESTION: How do you fit in movement on days when life feels too busy?
When I am busy, I try to slip in activity naturally, like park further away from my destination.Hi all. I am still rundown, but my nose is better, so I am going to work. The good thing about taking yesterday off is that it is already Wednesday. I don't know if I said this, but I had to do a sleep study to see if I could stop using my CPAP machine. Well, I had to redo it last night because the first time I did the sleep study, they didn't tell me not to use my CPAP machine. Last night, I did the study again without the machine. I didn't feel like I slept well, but my watch gave me an EXCELLENT score, so maybe I slept better than I thought...or maybe the watch is full of it lol.

She was very stressed, and I let her influence me, which happens quite often. We did discuss doing a sugar/alcohol fast in January. In the meantime, I need to go work out and drink a lot of water! 😕

I finally made it to 148 😃
I spent the day on the computer and phone all day yesterday. My insurance expired and I'm working on finding new insurance. 😫 I checked my email and it looks like I'm going to be on the phone and computer again today. 😫😔
I walked through the house a little bit yesterday, waving my arms and hands around just to get some activity in. According to my watch, I didn't get very many steps in because it died. I put it on the charger and forgot about it.
