@19shmoo69 Of course you can track your steps with us , we would love to have you! I made you a spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-c4S-GIz9asx1ghzcAnNdyEH1LkXL670f-2mZ4AFUqk/edit?gid=1088652015#gid=1088652015 Look for your tab at the bottom, always check you are on the right tab before you put your numbers in. Don't feel like you need to fill out the "minutes active" column, that's optional. Let me know if you have any questions! Here is the link for the Habit Tracker for November: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1q7uCRzR4gBiyWm9sZ1dH1-eNx81QGMkZ1kR1nzG8x4o/edit?gid=664174601#gid=664174601

Darren, this is what it looks like:

    STEPS SHEET.png

@TeresaW2024 Sorry about the gain . I hate when I know it's coming and indeed, I gain! I think I will have a gain this week. That would be good to do a sugar/alcohol fast in January.

@DrewsAnna Congrats on the loss ! I "hid" your old sheet on the step tracker spreadsheet, it's still there if you want to look back at it (just click on the three lines button and you'll see it). I just wanted to clean up the sheet a bit.

Hi all. I left work early yesterday, I wasn't feeling well still. I think I'll be able to stay all day today, at least I hope so. I made air fryer pizza bombs last night for dinner: you take Pillsbury Grands and split each biscuit into two thinner biscuits, and then put cheese and pepperoni in the middle and roll it up into a ball. Then you put a butter mixture on top of the balls and air fry for 6 minutes. You dip them in pizza sauce. They are really good and easy to make.

    Water intake yesterday: 24 oz

@trooworld I'm glad you are feeling better . Yum, for pizza bombs!!

Good morning! I started decorating the house yesterday. Yes, it's too early, but my niece is decorating her home, and I gave her my large Christmas tree, so I had to go through all my ornaments to see what I really want to keep for the new, smaller tree I bought. And since I pulled everything out, I figured I might as well decorate and get it done. It was not as fun a day as it has been in the past. So much of my Christmas is tied to memories with my Joe, so there were some tears, but also good feelings from the sweet memories I have of all our Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, and Pier One trips over the years. Joe didn't care much for Christmas but loved watching it through my eyes. I'm sure he was smiling down on me yesterday, happy that I had decided to decorate and enjoy my glitter. :)

    Good morning Slims,

I am off to a late start but I am here.

Congrats to @Katmary71 , @Veta2018 and @vegan4lyfe2012 for making the Leaderboard and to @Veta2018 for losing the most .

@vegan4lyfe2012 Thank you for my Halloween card . It is so neat. It is great to see that the Concerta is helping. I am glad you took time to yourself. Everyone should do that every now and then.

@DrewsAnna Phones games are an addiction . They do cause problems in weight loss journeys. It is great that you deleted the game and now fill that area with more productive things.

@TeresaW2024 I am glad that you are still going to do the holidays . It was hard for me when my mom passed in '21. Thanksgiving was only 4 days after her passing. We all still got together and ran the motions for that day but I don't remember anything from that day. I do decorate now for her. I want her to be able to look down and see the light and decor as she loved the holidays.

How do you fit in movement on days when life feels too busy?  I use all the busy stuff as movement. If I need to go shopping I park at the end of the parking lot so I have to walk that helps with more steps. Dance around the house while cleaning, doing squats when getting clothes out of the dryer or brushing my teeth. I just add little things where I can to make it work.

Well this week has really not went as planned so far. John got sick and I just have not been motivated to get anything done. My shoulder is still not healing from my fall. I went to see my Dr. 2 days ago and had ex-rays done and they were ok. Now I have an MRI next Wed. We also up my Wegovy to 1 mg so, waiting on the approval. Till then my plan is to walk everyday and get in my water, protein and veggies. Today I have to run into town and pick up my meds and a few veggies from HEB. then finish up the laundry and clean the camper.

    Have a blessed day.

    Hi 👋

I got some potting soil and perlite to plant my new plants. I'm going to finally finish my corn plant and set up the grow lights because the room it's in is really dark.

I bought some carrots, parsnips, rutabagas, and turnips for pot roast. It's a perfect kind of day for a pot roast. Lol… I'll definitely get my veggies in today.

    Y'all have a great day 😀

@TeresaW2024 Thanks ! The pizza bombs...easy and good. I'm glad you decorated, I'm sorry it was kind of hard on you. I bet it looks really nice. My husband's favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, and he won't let us decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving gets its due lol.

@bobboyardee Yay for being out of jail with me ! LOL Good job, Drew. You could use emoticons to share your emotions, if you feel too vulnerable using words? 😁😝😒🤢 Give it a try and see what feels better to you. We are here to support you and cheer you on, no matter what way you want to do it!

Hi all. I was able to stay all day at work yesterday, but I did have to clock out for an hour to get my tire taken care of: I had a low tire when I went out to drive to work...I stopped at a gas station to fill it but the gas station's air pump was underwhelming and wasn't inflating it. I tried again at work, using a small compressor that came with my car, but it only made it worse. So, I went to Discount Tire and they said all my tires needed air lol. I ordered a better pump to keep in my car. I had more pizza bombs for dinner last night. I lost 2 lbs this week, which surprised me since I ate out so much while my friend was here. I thought for sure I'd gain a big amount.

    Water intake yesterday: 64 oz

@txcritter69 I love the thought of your mom looking down at your Christmas decorations and smiling! I know my Joe is, too. 🙂I’m sorry John is sick and that your shoulder isn’t healing well. Hopefully, the MRI can give your doctor some answers.

@bobboyardee let those feelings out! 👍

@trooworld I’m sorry your hubby won’t let you decorate early. There is nothing wrong with a bit of sparkle to go along with the turkey. Plus, it’s a whole thing now to decorate early. Almost everyone I know is putting up their decorations. Congrats on your loss!! 😀

Good morning! Not much is going on today. I did a workout and now I’ve got a lot of desk work to do that I’ve been putting off. My sister is bringing my little nieces over tonight to stay until Sunday, so their mom can get a break from all four kiddos. Tomorrow morning, I have to go to a leadership meeting at the church. The pastor is cooking us breakfast. The agenda is to discuss renaming the church. I’m very opposed and hoping to sway people over to my side. Of course, I’m biased since I actually did my homework on what it would take to change the church's name, and 95% of the work would be on my shoulders. I have other reasons than my own selfish, "I don't wanna," and hopefully more will agree with me than those who think it's a good idea. Ughh!!! 🙄

    Hi 👋

Yesterday was a really good day. I was really tempted to succumb to the nasty weather, but I turned on some music, danced around while I cleaned both bathrooms a lot better than I meant to, lol… I didn't want to turn the music off.

I thought I was going to reach my fiber goal because I made a pot roast with rutabaga, parsnips, carrots, potatoes, and turnips, but I still didn't. Fiber is so hard. I thought about getting some fiber bars, but I don't know how to buy them. They all say protein, and have very little fiber.

The sun is shining today, but it's cool. I'm hoping to go outside for a little bit, but I'm a fair weather kind of person, lol… we'll see if I actually do that.

    Y'all have a great day 😀

I feel happy sad angry grateful hopeless and hopeful all at the same time

I'm having a birthday party tonight and we are playing my favorite spy board game: The Resistance!

It's so easy not to binge when I have a party because I feel so happy and full. I hate throwing a party because I feel anxious about wanting to manage all of my guests' experiences.

    Good afternoon Slimpossibles,

Today would have been my mom's 101st birthday. She passed away in 2008. I still miss her.

    Reminder for Friday Weigh-In: @davors19 @Katmary71

Weigh In due for Thursday @askewcr

Weigh In due for Monday @cocoloca7890

@DrewsAnna - the secret to hitting the fiber goal is beans! Can you eat beans?

@TeresaW2024 - to persuade the leadership, focus on the cost of the name change. Not just the obvious cash outlay, but the cost of your time. Because the time you spend working on an unnecessary name change is time unavailable for other more important tasks that actually advance the church's mission.

I saw a quote today that Iiked. I didn't copy/paste it, but it went something like this: Staying positive isn't about everything turning out okay. It's knowing that you will be okay no matter how things turn out.

One of those weeks but it flew by. Should hopefully be finishing up the pantry project tomorrow or close to. Next class officially starts Monday. Aced my last class! I need to somehow work exercise into my daily routine. I did food prep this week. Made breakfast casserole and chicken meatballs for the week. Froze the excess so I can thaw and use later. Let’s see what this next week brings.

@askewcr I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL!

@TeresaW2024 I think Joe would definitely be proud of you for decorating!

FITTING IN EXERCISE: I try to do something every day and my minimum is strength training (best thing I did was stop doing leg day on farm days). I used to do a bunch of exercise plus the farm and am learning to be more moderate with it all these days so I don't wear myself out and would rather skip it if I'm not feeling well. WIth my legs I can't do everything and they're the weakest and hurt the most so I'm figuring out a compromise.

Kittens are slamming against the gate I have to go see what they're up to! Have a great Saturday everyone.

@TeresaW2024 I agree ! lol Maybe I'll start slipping things into the living room one by one lol. Thank you! I hope you got your desk work done and you have fun with the kiddos. Hopefully, you can convince them not to change the name of the church. IF it ain't broke, why fix it???

@bobboyardee That sounds like a confusing cocktail of emotions ! I'm sorry about the sad angry hopeless parts. Was it YOUR birthday? I hope you had fun playing The Resistance! I've never played that. Did the party go well? Did you binge?

@micaroo4 Hugs . I like the sentiment you shared.

@gemwolf110 Congrats on acing your class !

@askewcr I'm so sorry about your mother -in-law. My thoughts are with you.

@Katmary71 Congrats on the loss !

Hi all. I worked on my annual review's self-evaluation portion yesterday during work hours. I hate those things. I have to put a lot of effort and thought into it, and I just don't like doing it. After work, we went to the gym, and it wasn't too bad there. I had to change up my routine once, but I wasn't too annoyed. We went to Trader Joe's for groceries after that. Luckily, I had put a recipe in the crockpot (Senate Bean Soup, from the NY Times) and it was done when we got home, so I didn't have to make something. This morning, we are going to the gym, and then later in the morning, I am meeting a new artist friend at the coffee shop, and we are going to do some artwork. After that, my husband and I are going to get the rest of the groceries and then go pick up some take-out and go sit in our car at the beach and listen to an audiobook I've been wanting to listen to (King Sorrow by Joe Hill). It should be a busy, but fun, day!

    Water intake yesterday: 48 oz

    Good morning Slims,

@TeresaW2024 have a great time with your little nieces . I hope you are able to sway the vote.

@DrewsAnna Fiber is a tough one to get in . Maybe a supplement would help out.

@micaroo4 I did just buy some beans, so I will be making some. I am however, very picky about them. @txcritter69 I am going to start taking some sort of supplement because im also constipated and it's making my stomach hurt.

@trooworld thank you for cleaning up my steps page. I'll try not to mess it up again.

Getting ready to go to grand cutie game and then go jeeping. I will update you all later.
