@jguldi11 we always give the last kid(s) the rest of the candy. So if you come late, you win!

@Alatariel75 oh my goodness, I'm glad you were ok!

Today was a good day. Actually day #3 in a row! I got my steps, tracked calories, and got my water in. Let's keep this up!

My first day back yesterday. Didn't do the 5k steps I wanted as my job is a desk job and I had so much to catch up on. Did notice my hip was nagging me last night so did some strength and stretching exercises this morning. Just need to make more effort in the day at work, make myself go the long way round in the building .

Calories went over by 19, but not stressing g about that . Taking one day at a time and will see at the end of the week.

Trying to relax and switch off when home as just been told I being transfered to a sister carehome for 3months after xmas . I don't like being out of my routine. Im a creature of comfort. It's giving me anxiety.

However It gives me a opportunity to possibly have a promotion to care home manager so think I need to put on my 'big girl knickers' and take it as a great opportunity.

@ashleycarole86 Hope you had a great birthday!

@Alatariel75 I hope your okay after your fender bender! Hopefully you don't have to car shop unexpectedly.

@cleaneater80 Sounds like you and your husband have some good things going. I'm sure you'll figure out how to keep it going with the new job.

@cleaneater80 nice job getting into the 150s!!

@strong_fit_ells wow how exciting! I'm sure you'll have a great visit. I can't imagine what it's like going so long without seeing my sisters. Enjoy the reunion!

@Alatariel75 I wish I could send you a hug, here's a virtual one ๐Ÿซ‚ hopefully life settles down for you soon.

Well I caught my son's cold and my daughter has it too ๐Ÿ˜ž honestly I'm surprised we made it this long without an illness so I can't be too upset. For some reason my son has been waking up earlier over the last few weeks, and daylight savings isn't helping. Today he woke me up at 6:23am, over an hour before my alarm ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Yesterday my lunch caused my glucose to spike a bit which was somewhat surprising, I had a low carb/high protein beef stew and half a Greek yogurt cup. This is not the first time I've spiked after the yogurt though so I think I need to go back to plain Greek yogurt and add fruit to it instead of the flavored stuff that has added sugar.

I walked around the yard some yesterday before work, and then marched around the house until I met my step goal after work. It felt good to get that movement in. I want to try today too, but it's hard to be motivsted when I'm sick and tired. Who knows, I might convince myself to take a walk regardless.

Off to work now. I hope everyone has a good day.

@strong_fit_ells How exciting ! Enjoy your time with them !

@Alatariel75 Welcome back, it's nice to see you. I am sorry about your car.

@cleaneater80 Yay to a new decade.

I am so so bad at this, I seriously swear something is wrong with my brain.

I am not even doing good with the quitting smoking, I haven't read any more of the book, I have like 10 cigarettes left, so I really need to get on that, and read that book, I am hoping to be done by Sunday.

Today I am doing a 36 hours fast, I started it at 6pm last night, so it will actually be 38 hours.

Some positives - I have gotten 5k steps every day, even if I have to stand in front of the TV and march in place.. I was in so much pain Monday afternoon/ evening, my elbow hurt so bad, I mean like horribly, I have been doing my neck exercises though, and it is much better, so I just have to remember to do them on a regular basis, they are super simple too.

I have to find the switch and flip it, because it is really annoying me that I am not able to control my binge eating moments. I can buy all the good food and eat all the good food, but I just top it off with eating way more than I should.

Okay Have a great day !

Thank you everyone, at least it looks like she was honest with her insurer and has taken responsibility, they're going to let me know where to take my car to be assessed.

Unfortunately for me, I've still let it derail me, too much wine, pizza again. I'm just a mess at the moment, the little hiccups throw me right off course. I'm still getting a lot of steps, though, so I guess that's one victory. I started reading Quit Like a Woman because I think I actually do just need to give up alcohol. It's not ruining my life or anything, but it's becoming a habit and I don't like that for me.

@ Gidgitgoescrzy I feel you so much on the binging, I have really been in the weeds with it lately. It's not at all good, but my control is out the window.

@ jguldi11 I hope you feel better soon!! Lots of germs about :(

@ strong_fit_ells that's so exciting!! Have an amazing time!!

Hoping you get the outcome you want on your assessment @Alatariel75 .. not what you needed but I'm glad the woman responsible did take accountability.

@cleaneater80 Amazing job tasting the 150's for the first time in five yearsโ€ฆ that, a new job, you have lots to feel great about girl!

@strong_fit_ells wow that's going to be quite the reunion after that many years. Unexpected houseguests can be stressful but I hope you get to really enjoy the time together

Nothing to report here, work is busy and it seems that Daylight Savings Time has made me sleepy! Brad is away for one night for workโ€ฆ I was feeling super lazy but pushed myself to do a bit of cleaning around the apartment so at least I feel a bit accomplished!

I'm not even going to let that get me down.

I had a good day yesterday, I fasted all day, and did my strength training, a 15 min walk, cleaned the house and played with the dogs alot. Had to do something to keep my mind off food, although I find that after about 18 hours the hunger really diminishes, so this morning I feel great. I have signed up to work with a holistic/functional Dr, my 1st appointment is this evening. So I am pretty excited about that. I am off work tomorrow, I have like 4 days of leave I need to use before the end of the year, aside from hubbys surgery, and I have to do it between my boss and a co-worker I cover for, who takes the holidays off, which really annoys me, cause that means I never get to take anything off, and she misses 2 month ends in a row, so I have to close her part too.

Anyway, so my plan for this evening is to have soup for dinner, and then my dr meeting is at 6. Tomorrow, I am going to convince hubby to get up early, go on a hike, then we can go pick up my car, and go to Kirklands to pick up my funny christmas tree for the kitchen. When we get home, he will get to put in a new range vent the one I originally bought wasn't enough CFMs and I knew this, but it was cheap. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, it was a big deal. Lesson learned, it's cheaper to get the right thing 1st. I will put away the Halloween decor, I don't really do fall decor, although I really really love my pumpkins in the kitchen, so they will stay until after Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I can find some cute fall stuff at Kirklands on clearance. ๐Ÿ˜

Okay that is my update, I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

So today we celebrated my niece's 4th birthday! It was a fun day, ate mexican, had cake and presents. I did surprisingly well eating, I have a lot of leftovers and only ate 1/2 a piece of cake!

Tomorrow, we are going to a shopping center for a bit and then may see my niece and nephew again. A nice weekend!

Monday and Tuesday are going to be cold, and I'm not looking forward to it!
