I'm pretty disappointed with my weigh in this week, I thought it would be a bigger loss. Meals have been good all week, no frenzies/binges, a ton of walking. There has been a bit of unnecessary grazing that I need to tighten up (always my weakness), but I didn't think it was that bad.
I'm so glad it's Friday. I have a lot of housework to do this weekend and I'm planning to do some meal prep. I'm hoping to also have a chance to just sit and relax for a bit.

Apologies to my teammates:
I've had a hard week, with stress, scheduling at work, tummy aches, allergies and a cold coming on…I haven't been posting much, other than necessities and those were done from my phone just to get them in, usually from the office. Thank you to the rest of the leadership team for filling in when needed and I'm sorry for not reaching out to let you know. I've literally been coming home and falling asleep right after exercising. It's been tough.
I'm trying to make it through Thursday of this upcoming week and then I'm off work for ten days. The older I get, the more I can "feel" my vacations coming on and this one is much needed.

Well, I jumped on the scale today even though it's not my weigh in day, and I was down 2 pounds from yesterday (when I officially weighed in). I'm bummed it doesn't count for this week's competition but super happy to see some real results.
I dropped my lovely boys (or little monsters to be more accurate) off at my mom's last night. It's all but impossible to be productive with them around, so I have a lot of housework to catch up on. I also want to see if I can find some recipes I can prep and freeze for throughout week. We just dropped naps so the little bit of time I've had just went away.
Weekends are usually a downfall of mine, especially when the boys are gone. So I need to be extra mindful and try to maintain today's loss. I thought my calf was getting better, but I tweaked it again the other day, so I'm still benched from running. I might try to go for a little walk to get some steps in.

Florida winter is officially here, and I am spending my Saturday doing my favorite things: sunbathing by the pool, practicing my Spanish, putting together choreography for my Aqua Zumba class, and most important—reading my book for this week’s Book Club gathering!

Just got back from running my errands for the day…already over halfway to my step goal for the day! Yay! Felt good to get out and about, especially since my tummy is feeling better and I got a good night's sleep. One of my errands was picking up the December Book Club selection from the library, where they had it on hold for me. This weekend, I'm finishing up the November book and then, I will start the December selection next week…it's a Biography by Trevor Noah…all about being raised by a single mom in South Africa during Apartheid…can't wait to read it, as I just love him. He's a really good-hearted person, from everything I've seen and heard.
I'm working on this week's group challenge and will announce it shortly.
