I got a stable. Yeah, sick that way:

    2008 Cannondale Synapse
    2012 Giant Talon 29er 0
    Restored 1984 Schwinn Traveler
    Converted 1982 Schwinn World
    1999 Easy Racers Tour Easy
two or three old Schwinn frames in the space above the garage
a brand new but too-small-for-me-sized 2008 Schwinn Madison frame, cannibalized to convert the World to a singlespeed/fixed gear bike.

Road: 2011 Cannondale SuperSix 4 Rival
Cyclocross: 2011 Redline Conquest (don't tell the other bikes, but this one is rapidly becoming my favorite)
Mountain: 2009 Cannondale F5 Féminine (snagged this one on liquidation...Cdale greatly overestimated the # of petite frames they needed to make for that model year)

    Road: 2011 Bianchi Sempre 105
    Commute/around: 2011 Jamis Coda

(Yes, it was a big bike year for me....the Coda replaced a 2005 Gary Fisher Tarpon hardtail MTB that was my only bike)

Planet-X Team Superlight Alu / Ultegra Oily Bits / Fulcrum Racing 5's / FSA finishing kit.

    On-One Inbred 456 / Bombers / XT Oily bits / XT-Mavic 717's/Various finishing kit

(both custom build ups rather than off-the-peg bikes)

There's also a loft full of other bits and pieces (last count something like 7 frames worth!) but they don't get ridden at the moment

I have a 2011 Madone 6.2 H2 Red Rage in Color. I am 50 miles short of riding 4K miles this year. Not bad for Minnesota and my first year riding.

Always liked those elevated stay alpinestars back in the day, it was pretty much around at the same time as my Dyna-Tech I reckon - and as my bike club was sponsored via the local bike shop (who were raleigh dealers!), I took the option of a half price Dynatech instead of the full flourescent alpinetars. I bet the flexstem was a better option as suspension than the RC35's as well - unless you filled them with the really squidgy rubbers (1 step harder than the average jelly baby) you got maybe 3/4" travel out of 'em. Mine are currently filled with the only elastomers Pace had left - which were the hard ones - I think that they're pretty much rigid forks now, only heavier

My first was a Trek 7.5 FX and now I have a Trek 2.1 WSD. Someday I want a fixie.
  • I ride a 2011 Jamis Ventura Comp, and will in the next year or so be looking at entry-level-ish mountain bikes to pick one of those up as well. I'm fairly new to cycling (you know, since getting a driver's license and all), but I love my bike, and use it as often as I'm able.

2011 Felt Z85. Used to have a decent IronHorse mountain bike, but it never got used.
I was this close " to getting a Giant Defy 1, but the Felt was just a better fit.

I've got a 1995 Trek OCLV carbon bike, a 2000 Trek 520 touring bike (my favorite) and an old, beat up mountain bike I take when my dogs want to go running.

Just got my new ride today.... 2011 Globe Roll 1. Was commuting (around 15miles 5 days a week) with a pile of junk from Wal-Mart. This was long over due. I currently have it so I can coast... but hopefully soon I will be comfortable to switch it over to a fixie.

Congrats Jenn. Globe Rolls are cool lookin bikes! Flip flob hub, right? I have to admit I keep my single speed on the coasting hub almost all the time, but that's how I roll (pardon the pun!).

I have a 1988 Cannondale SM700 MTB that has been just about everything possible, I'm currently converting it into a single speed...

The old Crack N Fail dressed up as a city bike.

I bought a Charge Mixer 8 this last January to do my trailer tugging duties.....

    trailer_hitch_ver_2_5.jpg
Strong steel frame, disc brakes, 8 speed Alfine hub, this bike is really good for this job, great city bike too!

and my third ride is what I call a "Lrrb", or "Long Ride Road Bike", this is not a touring bike, nor is it a racing bike.
    958081ef-1.jpg
I got an NOS steel frame here, most likely a late 80's frame and I cobbled together some new, some old and some donated parts.
The slightly relaxed steel frame with the Brooks B17 saddle means I can ride this bike all day and not get beat up. The Lrrb cost me less than $600 all told, not bad in my books, and it is a really nice ride, not the lightest, not the quickest, but enjoyable.

    Cheers!
