This isn´t much of a recipe but it is my favorite lunch.
Take 1/3 pound lean ground beef, chopped up bacon, salt, pepper and mix together. Make a big hamburger and fry it up. Put lot´s of cheddar cheese on top, add a slice of tomatoe and lettuce and this keeps me going for hours.

    Tzaziki sauce

1-6oz container of Chobani non-fat plain yogurt
2oz finely diced cucumber (brunoise if possible)
    1-TB finely diced fresh dill
1/2 Clove of garlic, finely chopped

Mix these ingredients together and chill for a couple of hours. Add a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper to taste...

I use Joseph's low-carb pita pockets for when I want a Chicken-Gyro... and this Tzaziki sauce is just awesome!

    YIELD: 2 Servings
    EACH SVG:
    57 Calories
    5g carbohydrates
    0g fat
    9g protein

Can easily be done for FOUR servings as well.. this spreads EASILY!

One from my blog: Greek meatball stew

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/metal_beau/view/greek-baked-meatball-stew-109653

Yummy greek spiced meatballs in an intense tomato sauce with aubergine (eggplant), crumbled feta cheese and olive topping.

Another from the blog: Coriander (Cilantro) sambal- a very nice refreshing sauce. Can be used as a dipping sauce for oriental type things (Shrimp, lettuce wraps, veggies) or as a sauce for fish, red meat or chiken.

I like this idea very much - hopefully this will direct people better and keep their recipe suggestions better-categorized too!

I made Eggs Benedict this morning and am so proud to say it only had 4 grams of carbs! Of course I left out the muffin, but I didn't miss it! Here's what I did:

    3 poached eggs
3 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon
1.5 TBSP Betty Crocker Hollandaise Sauce

To make the sauce you need:

    3 egg yolks
    1 TBSP lemon juice
    1/2 C (8 TBSP) butter

Combine the egg yolks and lemon juice in a saucepan vigorously. Over low heat add half the butter and stir constantly until melted. Add the other half of the butter and stir until melted. I use a small whisk to keep the lumps out of the sauce.

Macros for the meal as I made it were:

    Calories-390
    Protein-30
    Fat-29
    Carbs-4
    Sodium-753
    Sugar-1

Yum, that hamburger thing sounds good... I have been eating so much chicken, lately I've been craving beefy burger - taco type flavours...

I would love to post these recipes on my blog if people would allow. I don't want to post without permission though :)
