    How much snow do you need before you can snowshoe? I live very near a bike trail, and I would ilke to try some kind of activity on that trail. I'm also considering trying cross country skiing.

    I'm about 20 min North of Madison. I got about 3" inches of that heavy crap but Madison only got a dusting.
