this changes everytime i read through them. right now my fave is breaking dawn, because i *love* jacob's section of the book. it's so nice to see a change of perception, and i love how he's so cheeky and to the point, and also how he gets so irritated with bella and her 'martyrdom'. i'm sure i'll probably change my mind the next time i read them, though!

My own.... because in that one, indecisive little Bella ends up with Jacob leaving Edward with me where he belongs..... :-P
Twilight is my favorite book, Eclipse is my favorite movie.0 -
Except that I hated the way they killed the vampires in Eclipse. It just looked retarded.... AND I hate that they recast Victoria,,,,0

i second that in a major way! i just saw her kicking some major *kitten* in new moon last night, and the new victoria doesn't compare. she's is no where *near* badass enough. :grumble:0 -
My favorite book is Breaking Dawn...I love that the point fo view changes in the book, were the others were really just from Bella's point of view. It was almost refreshing to get the outside perspective.0

My favorite isn't released - Midnight Sun
Favorite movie though is Eclipse...for now.

Midnight Sun, I loved seeing the story from Edward's point of view.0

I am sure it will be Midnight Sun if and when it is ever finished. For now I will say Twilight because it really set the mood for the whole series. I love the imagery of the Olympic Peninsula. I can't believe Stephenie had never visited there. Well, what do I know, neither have I. Maybe she got it all wrong. I love Forks for all the same reasons Bella hates it. I love lush, green, wet forests. I love rain. I love mountains. That is what got to me the most was the imagery. As I read Bella lying in bed complaining about the sound of the rain, all I could think is how lucky she is to get to hear the rain on the rooftop. What a dork!0

you *have* to go visit - by far the most beautiful landscape i have ever seen, and that includes the greek mediterranean! we went to astoria, oregon for a 'goonies' filming reunion and decided to drive up through forks and leave via seattle. *most* gorgeous territory i have ever seen - we are going back as soon as we can and going camping - we'll have to by bear canisters from the sporting goods store that bella works at - it's really there! and we ate at the lodge - i had the esme burger!0 -
My favorite books are Twilight and Eclipse. I love the Jacob character, but New Moon doesn't have enough Edward for me. Breaking Dawn has its high points, but I think there are parts that just d-r-a-g.0

Breaking Dawn by far!!! I love to see the motherly side of Bella. It made me think of how I would do anything for my boys! I have read that book 7 times! Such a fan!!0

Midnight Sun, I loved seeing the story from Edward's point of view.
I hope she finishes it.0 -
The book I am reading at the moment, and the movie I currently have in my DVD player. That would make my favorite books Eclipse and Breaking Dawn because I am finishing Eclipse in my usual rotation, but I started Breaking Dawn to read at least the first half before the movie comes out. And my favorite movie is Twilight. I actually love everything except Bree Tanner (too sad).
Twilight the book -- I love Bella, she is me. I love Edward -- who wouldn't?:smokin:
Twilight the movie -- The whole prey/predator thing. The first kiss and the prom scene.:smooched:
Midnight Sun -- I love Edward's tortured soul.
New Moon the book -- The Romeo and Juliet connection. The blank chapters (such a clever device). Bella's epiphany.
New Moon the movie -- Edward walking across the parking lot, LOL. The English class  (Oh, Rob needs to read more Shakespeare! --out loud) Beella running throught the streets of Volterra.
Eclipse the book --
Well, you probably get the picture. I love it all!0 -

She got the Olympic Peninsula exactly right! It is so beautiful, but Forks is definitely a small town. One day we took a overgrown path throught the woods, and we could just imagine getting lost there.0 -
I know this is going to sound weird, but I have not read Breaking Dawn yet. I loved reading the first 3 and couldn't put them down, but I could not bare to let it end, so I would not read BD. I have just started to read it this past week.
I think I liked New Moon the best, because of how Bella agonized over Edward leaving, there is something about that whole gut wrenching - tear your heart out feeling that I am drawn to. Eclipse was okay, but I think it left me kind of bored. I enjoyed the Short Life of Bree Tanner. Quite unexpected.
I have been to Forks twice with my little sister. She was the one who turned me on to Twilight, but I'm the one that became the huge geeky fan and suggested we go there. I have lived in Oregon, and the rain can drive some people nuts, but I have always loved it, so the climate in Forks is definitely appealing to me.0 -
I would have to say midnight sun is my fav. I just love how you get to see Edward act like a real love struck teen.0

Omg, I love Forks and the Olympic Peninsula. I went to Seattle to visit my BFF and we drove to Forks for the day. I've never seen so much green and beauty. I love it and would love it even without the Twilight connection.
My favourite book is New Moon. SMeyer really did capture the pit of despair that Bella fell into very well. The first time I turned the page and saw those empty months, I cried. My second favourite is Twilight.0 -

Like others, I have to admit to resisting reading the series in the first place (same with Harry Potter). Guess I can still learn a thing or two about opening up to new ideas. Now I'm a fan of them all, plus Twilight in History and the Official Guide. Love those back stories!
I love Midnight Sun, too. But it's painful to read it and know it's gonna end way too soon. Yeah, SM really lets you in Edward's head, so you don't always have Bella's he's-too-perfect-for-me-to-derserve-him mentality.
Like others said about BD, it's really cool to read from Jacob's point of view. First time I read it, though, I was kinda disappointed that there was a diplomatic solution instead of an all-out war, lol.
Guess I got bit!0 -
I don't know who is more excited about Breaking Dawn coming out - me or my 14 yr old daughter. I just love the books.
We are gonna watch the movies this weekend, tonight and tomorrow. I could watch Twilight over and over. It is certainly my favorite of the series. I love them all, but the first book got me in so many ways. First love, sigh, it's just sweet. The meadow scene - he sparkles like diamonds.
Didnt know the Breaking Dawn soundtrack was out, any Muse on it?0 -
No Muse on this soundtrack, which is my only complaint!0

I fully agree! Loved Breaking Dawn....loved Bella's transformation and her coming into her own after turning into a vampire....loved how she finally felt comfy in her own skin....I PRAY SHE CAN PULL THIS OFF ONCE ON PART 2.0 -
Am I the only one who's favorite book is New Moon? Awww.
I just love seeing Jacob interact with Bella. I love when Bella actually DOES things.
Unlike when she's with Edward, all they do is stare at eachother and quiver. haha!!! They are so boring!!0 -

good point! i really like that too - it's just all of bella's inner depressing dialogue that kills that one for me...!0
