Losing Slow

Anyone else - lose slowly but steadily on Medifast below the 2-5 lbs per week? I lost faster the first 12 weeks in that range. The last six week it has been .5 - 1.5 lb per week. Anyone else have this problem?

I lost faster in the beginning (6 pounds the first week), but now that I'm closer to goal, I'm lucky to pull 1-2 pounds a week. But the important thing is that is IS coming off, just not as fast as I would like it to. But Medifast is definitely the most effective and easy to stick to diet plan I've ever been able to follow.0

:flowerforyou: I have 100 lbs to lose, and I'm at 55 lbs. I stay at a steady 3-4 lbs a week- that is unless I drink alcohol. I don't cheat with food but if I have a few drinks, I won't gain anything but I won't lose anything either, for at least 3 or 4 days. I don't even think about weighing myself the week I'm on my period. I know the scale will show a gain, and even though I know it's not a real gain, I don't want to look at it! Look at my diary and check out where I have my numbers set. Keeping calories, as well as carbs, very low is working.0

Just heard back from my health coach and she said although I am staying on program if I cut my carbs to between 80 & 90 per day and eat a little more protein - I'll lose faster....Just thought I would share in case some of you are losing slowly too.0

Thanks, Lisa. I've lost an ave of 2 pounds per week. about 53-54 pounds lost and about 10 from goal, so I've slowed up to 1.5 or less a week. I'm on a plateau right now, darn it!!
My health coach says eat the leaner meats and veggies, vary the time of day you eat your lean and green, try not to have the optional snack- or choose the celery as the optional snack.
My plateau's last 1-2 weeks on MF. I know to stick with it, and it will pass. I really would like to be in transition around Christmas or New Year. I started Take Shape for LIfe on May 3, 20110 -
I've been doing the 4-2 plan so obviously my fat loss will be a bit slower. But I've been consistently losing a pound a week which is a lot better than previously; a plateau!0
