Going for a run this morning!

Have been bad lately, very little running....got to run more regularly and today is the start! Wish me luck! I'm working towards doing a 5K in 30 mins, very slow still at the moment! Any advice gratefully accepted!

just run regularly don't worry too much about how far/fast try three times a week for half an hour if you can. Your heart rate indicates you are fairly fit so you just have to concentrate on not going too fast to soon and getting injured.
Try three different routes a week for a month then start to introduce intervals (fartlek) tempo hills etc.
You can do 5 k with a bit of effort.

So I did my second run yesterday morning...and managed to shave 40 seconds off my time. My hip started to hurt half way through like last time but I carried on. This time I mad e sure to stretch properly so hopefully that might improve things a bit next time.0
