Any tips for recovering from labral hip tears?

Anyone else doing Leicester Marathon 26th Oct?
I just signed up today and as this will be my first marathon I thought it might be nice to connect with others who are running it and follow their training progression and share motivation. A time of 4 hours will make me extraordinarily happy, though 4:15 might be more realistic.
5k to 8k advice please.
