This twist of not being able to weigh ourselves is NUTS! but I love it. This is going to be my biggest challenge yet. I weigh myself every day.. sometimes two times per day! I think t his will change my habits of overweighing myself.

This is definitely a challenge! And I am up for the challenge. I'm putting my scale away tonight and making sure I've got my tape measure ready to go instead!

I'm thinking that it is a great idea to have the last weigh in be the day before thanksgiving, because undoubtably there will be an uptick in weight after Thanksgiving. Whether it be sue to salt, mass of food, or actual weight. But one day will not be that detrimental regardless. Still fo rsome of us, seeing an uptick in the scales can be disheartening and a demotivator. And for some it sabotages. I think we just approach our diet and exercise therafter as if we have gained weight. It hink this challenge will also be a good test to see if we can pay attention to the health benefits and the fit of the clothes versus the number on the scale. If after the 5 weeks we love the progress, but then get on the scale and the numbers don't match, we learn to put way less emphasis on the number. Besides, it will be like opening a gift. You don't know what to expect, but you are excited to see.

Ms. Gooden, what are the rules of the challenge other than not getting on the scale? I am getting excited now!

Love your attitude girly!!! There is no MAJOR rules like the others. I feel like everyone should know what to do WORKOUT, EAT RIGHT, and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!! SO therefore everyone create their own rules on how they want to do things. BUT I will post weekly mini challenges. Its gonna be totally diff from the Thanksgiving challenge!!! We gotta up things a notch due to the holidays so week 2 just be ready to BURN THOSE CALORIES!!!
