Hi, I am fairly new to this group. I have been using a book called "S.P.E.E.D.:Evidence Based Weight Loss" and having incredible results which I could not get when I was doing either Atkins, or the Mediterranean Ketogenic Diet, or Primal alone. I am wondering if there is anyone else here who is also using this book to lose weight.

If you are interested in the details....http://doingspeed.com/ (sorry, I haven't figured out how to add a link)

I need to look around the site more, but the one post I read on rational thinking regarding food choices makes sense to me!

I looked over the site. They seem to take a rationalist approach to nutrition science (which I like to think I do as well), so it is OK from that angle. Their SPEED approach (which they sell) would make sense if one needs help in separating the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, while dieting - especially if one was wandering through the 'almost right' diets like Atkins.

It claims to be 'paleo friendly', so if it floats your boat - more power to ya! :)

Thanks. I was sort of hoping to find people who were also doing it so I could get a support group going.
