If you had a perfect shot on an albino animal, whether it be a moose, deer or whatever........would you take the shot?
I had the conversation with a few people and some said they would...others said no because they are a rare beauty, and a couple old timers view as albino animals have a genetic disease, so you should shoot them and let nature take over because the meat is no good.
What are your opinions?

I would view an albino animal like any other of it's species. If it met my requirements - yes, I would take the shot. True, they are a rare beauty. However, all the animals that we decide to hunt and harvest are rare beauties

A friend just shot one this year. We actually had the "would you?" discussion last night at dinner. It is said if you shoot an albino it is bad luck & you'll never get a big buck after that. We aren't supersticious. I don't actually hunt, but if I did, I think i would shoot one. My boyfriend said he definately would.0

A buddy of mine took an albino deer this year...that's where the question came from...I think i would too.0
