Dealing with Bumps the Pagan way

So a thought just came to mind while I was sitting here thinking. There are ways to reduce stress levels, yes, but aside from meditation- are there any that can also bring one closer to their paganism.
I am so stressed that meditation honestly gets me no where. Once I think of one thing I get very upset and other things flood in. It, then, frustrates me that my focus was broken so easily.
Or perhaps ways to steer away from procrastination, or help with time management. These things can be the source of many stress inducing problems and if there were a way to take care of that, and at the same time bring one closer to their god/esses, it may help to not focus so much on the REASONS you are performing the actions.

Ritual. Sometimes performing a small ritual works as an effective active meditation. Refocusing your mind and spirit on your goals via ritual can sometimes lock out that negative flood.0

Grounding. You probably know this one. I usually stand in the dark before bed, but you can do it any time. Stand tall and run through the one where your body slowly connects down to the center of the earth via a thread of energy that widens into a column that fills you up with golden light/power/joy (or whatever color works best for you). Then open up above and let the energy of the universe mix with the earth power. To finish, reduce the flow of energy until you are connected by a strong but tiny thread to the earth which stays with you wherever you go.
I also like to raise my arms in acceptance of the power of the Universe and think, "I am a child of the Universe. I am open to all possible responses and all the gifts of the Universe." It started as a way to shift myself away from reacting to the many irritations and frustrations in my life and shift toward choosing how I will respond. Now, it just fills me with joy to think it. :-)0
