What is everyone doing for Christmas and are you planning on behaving or indulging on the day?

Christmas day should be quite tame and easy to control for me, we're having lunch at my sister-in-laws (which is likely to be bacon and egg brunch, perfect for low carb) and then dinner with my partner and two part-time small boys (some sort of big bird and veggies). Dessert I can have something low-carb... I'm more concerned at how much I might drink and whether I over-indulge when I come up to Napier to see you! ;)

To be honest I don,t think I'm even going to worry Christmas day, every other day I'll limit myself but I'm just going to enjoy Christmas day and eat what I want but in saying that I won't go to the extreme. A portion of pav will do I dont need seconds :D

There is days in the year where we go over our limit - Christmas or work parties are part of life. Indulge and enjoy but be honest for the rest of the week. It will all even out over time. ( I hope!)

We don't really do Christmas so it's not so much of a worry for me. There's never anything to do so I'll probably just take the dumb dog for a walk.

My husband's big work function is this Friday night. The food is typically unappealing so I'm not so concerned about that either!

I agree with KahuNZ - we are all allowed to have a day off once and a while!! :-)

I like to watch my weekly summary anyway and as long as I'm under my weekly goal, I'm happy - a day over here and there never killed anyone! ;-)

We aren't doing anything for Christmas this year, so will probably keep the eating to a minimum anyway, but I doubt we'll do any exercise that day either - will be a fabulous relaxing day me thinks!! :-D

It's more the functions around it that will hurt! LOL

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and enjoy what ever you are doing!! :-)

We are having a BIG family Xmas as well as family arriving before the day, and friends etc. turning up the days following through to the New Year! It is going to be a rather large couple of weeks I can tell, so if I can maintain I will be happy! And as the dogs still need walking, I will get a little exercise!

i think for christmas i will have a day off food wise but i will try to exercise and get that in regardless of the day so hopefully it all works out.. although i am a tad worried about being home and drinking because my parents love alcohol so it will be interesting lol cant wait for a holiday though!!

I'm definitely going to be a bit more restrained than in past years, but will still have some of my faves. Where there is a dozen different options on the table I won't be having just a little bit of everything as I usually would. I'm going to find some nommy sounding semi-healthy recipes to make for Christmas :-)
