I'm on day 24. I have not smoked 245 cigarettes and have saved $75. I feel an unbelievable sense of accomplishment and am happy the worst is behind me. When I quit it didn't feel like I was struggling, but now that I'm past that part I can see that I was. Initially I gained weight (5 lbs,) but I nixed snacking and it's all come back off. Oh and I wouldn't say I was *****y, but I def wasn't biting my tongue if I had something to say, lol!! Yay for a new chapter in my life! I don't miss smoking at all, best decision ever! I wish you all the best, this is the best thing you will ever do for yourself.

Congrats on day 24! I'm right behind you, on day 22. In this time frame I would have smoked 440 cigarettes... wow, that a lot of poison to my body. And I've saved $308 (2 packs a day split between myself and the fiance, who quit with me). No wonder I've been able to buy so many christmas presents this year! lol

Nobody every said quitting would be easy, but it is definitely worth the struggle, weight gain, moodyness, etc! All of that is temporary, but the benefits of quitting will last a life time!

I think what I'm enjoying most (besides the extra cash!) is how fresh my mouth feels all day and no more coughing all the time!

I am on day 8, it's definitely more the habit smokes that catch me out, but that would like anything you have done for years, so it's about making new routines and habits. Also Jake I was a bit like that the first few days. I have not done any exercise and put on 2.5kg but I don't care as this week has been about quitting and that was way more important for me. So now I am going to head into next week with more energy and clearer lungs woot.
