So far this week I have been doing great! I have been doing workouts twice a day and today was Day 4 of Insanity. I have been under my calories every day and drinking tons of water! I have been busting my butt all around so come Monday I better have a loss or I am going to be really discouraged!!!

Sounds like you two are doing well too - that is great! :drinker:

Hi! I weigh in on Fridays so I will know tomorrow if I've lost any weight this week. I think I did pretty well this week. There were a few days I went over on calories but not by too much and I made sure that those were the days I worked out. I changed my weight loss goals in my profile because I felt like I made my goal a little unrealistic. I originally said that I wanted to lose 2 lbs per week but its not too easy to only eat 1200 calories a day. I changed it to 1 1/2 lbs per week and it gave me 200 or so extra calories. That I can work with. I have also been slacking A LOT in the water department. I definitely need to make it a goal for next week to drink a ton more water. lvn, good for you doing Insanity!! You go girl!! Remember ladies, inches are more important than what the scale says!! By the workouts we are doing we are gaining muscle mass as well and muscle weighs more than fat!! I have a very athletic body (underneath my fat I practically have a gymnasts body) and I ALWAYS weigh 20lbs more on the scale than what people tell me I look like. Darn muscles!! LOL!! Keep up the great work!!

Not a good week for me. Still have this awful cold then BAM Aunt Flo comes out of no where. Sorry. I didn't lose and I didn't gain. Happy but sad about that. Worked out once this week, I'm not happy with myself. I tried to become stricter with myself this week but this cold is hanging on way too long and making me miserable. Ugh hoping it is gone soon so I can get back in the mood to exercise again. Hope everyone is doing great!

I tried 1200 calories/day when I first started and yeah - I was starving!!! I bumped mine up to 1409 calories per day and then I get to eat more if I exercise. I pretty much only pay attention to my NET calories though. I try to get at least 1100 NET calories, but sometimes I am under that. I have been working out like a maniac so I am hoping to not only lose weight but inches too! I do not have a gymnasts body under my fat - I think I have more fat under my fat!

Have you tried adding lemon slices or cucumber slices to your water - might make it easier to drink.

Glad to see everyone doing so good and be happy with a same weight at least nobody gained any.
I lost one pound which I am happy with, of course wish it could be more, but will be happy with a loss.
I have two weeks left at home before I am gone to the inlaws for a couple weeks over Christmas so I want to do the best I can for these couple weeks, starting to feel a little nervous about being gone for this long and not doing the cooking, but I am taking my laptop and my Leslie Sansone's five mile walk dvd and the hubby says he will watch the little one when I want to do exercises, so hoping not to gain while I am gone!!! ]
Hope everyone has a great weekend and thanks for being there for me!!!

lvn, here is for hoping you lost! you have been doing fantastic i am proud! and thank you i feel sooo much better that i lost so much already. angel you will do just fine. keep doing workouts and log what you eat and you shouldnt gain any. we are all in this together and are supporting one another! we are now a team ladies!
  • I had a good week. Was consistent in logging and working out. Always at or under calorie goal. I weighed this morning and I gained a pound. I am trying not to be frustrated. I worked my butt off in the gym Wednesday through Friday. I missed Monday and Tuesday because I was preparing to travel/on the road. Usually my workouts start on Monday so I think I will weigh again Sunday just to see. I'm thinking I gained a pound of muscle because I'm working out so hard; but it is still a gain. :( On the upside I feel fantastic and it feels good knowing I'm being consistent!

Did you measure yourself? I find that I lose inches before I lose weight - I have gained weight but lost inches so it really just depends on your body. Don't get discouraged though - it takes time to lose weight (healthy) and it will come off - just keep with it and you will get results, if not on the scale then definitely in how your clothes fit.

Shame on me. This is my first post. Ive been doing great. Lost 3 pounds this week. For the first time ever in my life, the weight seems to be falling off. Ive lost 52 pounds total since I had my baby in July. Im now below my prepregnancy weight and plan to keep on going. Im seeing the changes and Im loving it.
