well this is my first time in here I am loving this APP on my phone it makes it easier ti keep track of food. I am an ER nurse work 9 a-9p and go to school full time and am a wife. I have gained about 50lbs. In the last 6 years and just feel terrible so it's time for a change. I really struggle with eating late bc of my work schedule and eating sweets I am allergic to artificial sweeteners so I can't use most diet products so it has been rough but I am doing better than I have before, I am glad for this support group, any tips would be great.

Something that has worked for me during this journey is substituting one of my meals per day with a salad! I have found myself with more energy, way less calories....and just feeling alot better.

I try to stay away from artificial sweeteners, too. I often use honey or agave nectar to sweeten drinks, smoothies, oatmeal. While they do have calories, you have to use them in moderation, they are all natural and much better for you than artificial sweeteners anyway!
