Perfume Review

What perfumes do y'all wear? Do you tend to stick with just one, or wear different ones? I wear the same perfume every day, the same whether it's day or evening, and I don't change by seasons. I know many people have different ones for day wear and going out or a specific one for summer. My perfume right now, and has been for about 6 years now is Dolce Gabanna Light Blue.

I'm very sensitive to perfumes, and tend to get headaches if the scent is too much for me.

I saw the word "perfume", and my eyes lit up! I love perfume. I have several, but my favorites are:

    72gfnq.jpg
Avon's Rare Diamonds: not much staying power, but it smells so elegant and pretty

    17wd36.jpg
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle: I don't have this one currently, but it's a favorite of mine. A bit on the strong side so use it sparingly!

I have the cheap-o body spray that is supposed to smell like Dolce Gabana Light Blue, and I love it!

My sister wears Chanel, and I really like that one. I've never smelled any Avon perfumes. I did find a Cartier one I liked the other day, but I can't remember the name.

I rarely wear perfume, since it's difficult to find scents that meld well with my body chemistry. Almost every time I find one, whoever made it stops carrying it. My all time faves were Avon's Pearls and Lace (discontinued ages ago; but it smelled SO good on me) and The Body Shop's Ananya (also discontinued). A student came in wearing Ed Hardy the other day and I really really liked it, but I haven't bought any.

I think I'm drawn more to the citrusy scents.

Jessica Simpson's Fancy is one of my favorites too! I got it for Christmas last year and love it. Usually I steer clear of celebrity perfumes (they tend to be low quality since they will sell no matter what with a celebrity name on it), but I like most of Jessica Simpson's perfumes.

I recently had a small sample of this perfume (Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy) and thought it was fruity/citrusy. The product description is:

    "Notes:
Wild Berries, Mandarins, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine, Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Praline."

Okay, mostly fruity, now that I look at it.

Here are the citrus-y perfume suggestions from Sephora:

Escada makes a really citrusy perfume. I haven't tried it yet, but I used to have an Escada perfume and quite liked it.

Those are totally different, but I like both of those (I'm too old for them, though)!

Does anyone remember Breathless by Victoria's Secret? I think it's discontinued now, but I loved that one!

My all-time favorite fragrance was Little Black Dress by Avon. It was so gorgeous. It was discontinued years ago, and I have never found another one I like that much!

Not yet. Someone recommended it to me. I've been trying to get to the mall to smell it.

I like to alternate perfumes depending on my mood. Juicy Couture "Viva La Juicy", Victoria's Secret "Sexy Little Things Noir", Chanel "Mademoiselle", and Dolce and Gabbana "The One" are my favourites!

I love Chanel "Chance". I will say that in the bottle, it's way too strong for me. I didn't like it.

Then I sprayed it on... It smells DELISH!!!

Also Dolce and Gabanna's "Light Blue". I get compliments on that one.

I'll have to try Chance. All I've worn every day for the past 10 or so years has been D&G Light Blue. I want to try something else, but nothing else comes close. Yet.

My current favorite is one of the newer ones from Bath & Body Works, called "Be Enchanged." A friend got it for me, and I really like it. My all-time favorites are Victoria's Secret "Love Spell," Bath & Body Works "Warm Vanilla Sugar," and I can't remember exactly what it was, but I think it may have been by Vera Wang? Idk...I'm more of a VS and Bath & Body Works type gal, not big on the higher-end scents, but sometimes I find one I really like.

<<< PERFUME ADDICT!!! LOL Here is what I have in my current collection, although there are a few I more I want. I like to change my scent regularly:

    Happy
    Viva La Juicy
    curious
    sexy
    Angel
(plus two other Victoria secret ones I cant remember the name of)
    Pure white linen
    Lovely
Fergie (forget the name at the moment)
    Glow by Jlo
    Pink
    Pink Splash
    Forbidden
plus a small collection of no namers I like to wear of chill-out days, or post-gym in case I need to stop at the grocery store or gas station. There are a ton I want to get, I think my next one is going to be the Nina Ricci one though, it smells great!

Hypnotic Poison by Dior. They sell it at Ulta and I absolutely love it! It has a nice scent to it for all occasions! I always have people complimenting it!

It is kinda pricey but they have a lotion that's a little cheaper and you get a lot more. But I have been wearing this for 2 years now! I will always have this in my collection!

Pink sugar is a total man magnet...love it!
Currently I am wearing MK gold...but I prefer his original scent, it reminds my hubby of Hawaii
I also use sea island cotton body spray instead of perfume at times(BBW)
Tommy girl is so old school but I get tons of compliments on it...ESP if I wear it with vanilla lace body spray (vs)

Oh wow, I used to LOVE JLo's "Glow" stuff...I wore that several years ago when it was popular...I never see it anymore!

At least you ended up with a good one!! I don't personally own it, but every time I go to Ulta, I find myself spraying a little on me. That, and those DKNY "be delicious" ones...love those!

They have it at Kohls. My kiddo got me the Britney spears sample collection, and I surprisingly like it. The Avril Lavign and Kat Von D are nice too! Oh, the fergie one is called Outspoken, it is sold through Avon. I love it!!! On a side note, my husband got a cologne called Neo, and it smells amazing!!! ;D
