Hi all,
I'm just joining this group. I've been running since last summer and have participated in 2 5K's. On New Year's Eve, I challenged myself to complete a 10K at the gym, running the whole way. I DID it!!! It was a great way to end 2011.
My time was 59:11. Not sure if that's good or not.
Anyway, I'd like to actually participate in a 10K when the weather gets warmer and then a 1/2 Marathon.
I'm looking forward to reading the posts about training.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Terresa

Very impressive TerresaJ! You'll be fine, just find a plan and match it up to a race. training for a HM is usually 12 to 15 wks long. good luck. let us know how things go!
  • That's awesome! I'm also training for my first half marathon. The Rock and Roll Half marathon, it's not until June so I have plenty of time to train! I'm nervous. Are you using a running plan?
