Hi all,
I'm just joining this group. I've been running since last summer and have participated in 2 5K's. On New Year's Eve, I challenged myself to complete a 10K at the gym, running the whole way. I DID it!!! It was a great way to end 2011.
My time was 59:11. Not sure if that's good or not.
Anyway, I'd like to actually participate in a 10K when the weather gets warmer and then a 1/2 Marathon.
I'm looking forward to reading the posts about training.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Very impressive TerresaJ! You'll be fine, just find a plan and match it up to a race. training for a HM is usually 12 to 15 wks long. good luck. let us know how things go!0

That's awesome! I'm also training for my first half marathon. The Rock and Roll Half marathon, it's not until June so I have plenty of time to train! I'm nervous. Are you using a running plan?0
