Green Tea

Hi all. I'm starting the 17 day diet today and have a question. I'm not a huge fan of green tea...in fact, i can't stand it. Is it possible to do the diet without drinking the tea? Or does anyone have suggestions of how to make green tea more "drinkable?"

    I use green tea extract in the capsule form and use truvia to sweeten green tea when I'm drinking it and a little lemon on occasion.

    Until you get used to the taste, try adding a spoon of honey. It should help the flavor.

    Also, if you're brewing it at home, make sure you're not steeping it too long or using boiling hot water. (Let it cool just slightly before adding the boiling water.) Itll taste really bitter if you do these things.

    Anyway, good luck! I personally love green tea but I didn't always. :D

    We can't have honey during cycle 1 so try 1/2 to a whole tablespoon of agave nectar. Truvia really does help, too.
