      Hi CT MFP Peeps! I currently live in New Britain (hate the city, but I live right next to CCSU, so I walk their campus!).

      Does anyone know of a place to go cross-country skiing within 30-45 minutes of Hartford? Hopefully not expensive as well! :)


      Ski Sundown in New Hartford, prices aren't bad and the slopes are pretty good.

      Isn't Ski Sundown just down hill skiing? I have been there a few times, don't recall seeing x-country skiing there.

      New to Connecticut....Born and raised here...moved to Kansas for almost 3 years because my husband is in the Army...now we are out and back home in Connecticut. Right now we are in Vernon...I am originally from Somers (my husband from Enfield). Glad to have a group with people in the area to share good ideas about what is around here for MFP people.

      Hey CT people. I was wondering if there were any people in my area looking for a work out partner. Currently I live in Vernon/Manchester/Ellington area. There are two close by gyms that I have looked into. The first is the Ellington YMCA, and the second if Courthouse gym.

      I grew up in Middletown but have lived up near the Quiet Corner since 1988 or so, in the Windham area.
