    Ok!

    Starting weight: 150
    Goal weight: 139.999999999

    Week 1: 148.4

Challenge: Don't cry for me, Argentina, but I have a life-style where I have to go out to restaurants five nights per week. It is very, very, hard to estimate calories on these nights, and it is extremely hard to estimate in advance and then budget my calories for the day. My natural rhythm is to eat earlier in the day. My husband, who is European, insists on eating at 9 at night. Dump? Just kidding.

  • Hey I haven't posted in quite some time. I have been exercising and working, but contracted bronchitis two weeks ago and I am just now getting over it and glad to be able to start up again.

    Starting weight: 174 lbs.
    Current weight: 164 lbs.
Goal weight: 145 lbs. Not sure if I am going to meet this goal. I have noticed that that I have maintained a weight of 172 for quite sometime. Hopefully, I am over this plateau.

    Good luck everyone:)

I really don't know what to do about this week's weigh in...

I weighed in at 165.2 yesterday and a pound heavier than that today, which is totally water retention/ bloat (I feel like a beast). I want to drink a lot to day and tomorrow and then weigh in again because I KNOW this 166.2 is a fake weight.... but is that cheating?

I don't think that's cheating. You can weigh in anytime during the week!

    My Weekly Check In:

    Starting Weight: 179.5 lbs
    Challenge Goal Weight: 165 lbs

    First Week: 178.5
    Second Week: 176.8
    Third Week: 176.4
    Fourth Week: 175.4 lbs
    Fifth Week: 175.0 lbs
    Sixth Week: 174.2 lbs
    Seventh Week: 174.8
    Eighth Week: 173.6 lbs
    Ninth Week: 173.2 lbs
    Tenth Week: 172.8 lbs
    Eleventh Week: 170.0 lbs
    Twelvth Week: 171.0 lbs
    Thirteenth Week: 168.8 lbs
    Fourteenth Week: 169.0 lbs
    Fifteenth Week: 167.2 lbs
    Sixteenth Week: 167.8 lbs
    Seventeenth Week: 166.6 lbs
    Eighteenth Week: 167.4 lbs
    Nineteenth Week: 165.6 lbs
    Twentieth Week: 165.8 lbs
    Twenty-First Week: 167.2 lbs
    Twenty-Second Week: 165.8 (-1.4 lbs)
    Total Challenge Loss: 13.1 lbs

Weight Loss Remaining to Goal: 0.8 lbs

I waited a couple of days before officially weighing in this week. I was down to 165.2 on Tuesday and then suddenly, for "no reason" (that I can logically discern) I was up to 166.6 lbs on Wednesday. It dropped to 166.2 yesterday and back to 165.8 lbs today AFTER eating pasta with bacon and alfredo sauce for dinner last night. I've been drinking my water and so I don't think it's sodium that caused the gain and it definitely isn't dehydration that caused the loss. I'm going to take it and be happy, and maybe by next week or the week after I will reach my v-day goal :)

    Weekly Success: Exercising! Water!
Weekly Struggle: I had to fight off emotional eating when things were getting scary, but I won!
This Week’s Personal Challenge: Enjoy shopping on Sunday and take progress pics.

    Challenge Goal Weight: 135
    Current Weight: 137

Well I think 2 lbs more is a manageable for 2/14 - especially since I'm set to only 190 calorie deficit per day. For this next week I'd be fine just to maintain, losing 3 lbs this week was not really intended nor healthy at my current stage in weight loss. I still can't run, due to go back to the Dr next week, and I was so busy at work that I didn't make time for yoga or spin at all. I think the 3 lbs lost might be muscle & water!

Weekly Success: doesn't feel like I had one this week?
Weekly Struggle: So much emotional stress - made me feel sick to my stomach; I could hardly eat at all!
This Week’s Personal Challenge: log at least 5 days & eat all my calories each day (but try not to go over maintenance calories).

    Focus on the positive!

    Week 6: 181.4
    Week 7: 180.2
    Week 8: 179.8
    Week 9: 178.4
    Week 10:176.6
    Week 11:174.4
    Week 12:171.8
    Week 13: 170.2
    Week 14: 169.2
    Week 15: 168
    Week 16: 166.4
    Week 17: 165.4
    Week 18: 164.2
    Week 19: 164.4
    Week 20: 164.2
    Week 21: 161.2
    Week 22: 160.2
    Total Challenge Loss: 31.8 lbs.

End of challenge goal weight: 155 lbs
Weight Loss Remaining to Goal: 5.2 lbs

I have decided on a new challenge goal of 155 lbs. This would be an average weekly loss of 1.5 lbs.
so far I'm a 1/2 lb off pace, but this morning I weighed in at 159.8 so...I might be able to pull this off if I can make myself exercise, lol.

I had an pretty nice NSV yesterday. I went to my esthetician to get sugared ( I haven't seen her in at least 3-4 months) and as she's getting started she stops and says "I hope this doesn't offend you but, have you lost a lot of weight?" When I told her I'd lost 45 lbs, she told me she was so happy for me it made her want to cry and she was going to brag to all of her clients about me! She totally made my day

I have my annual holiday party for work tonight and I am the one running the show, right from concept to execution. We were purchased by another company this year and our company president and his wife will be flying in to attend. I am quite anxious for the night to go smoothly but I am hyper organized so I feel very confident. However, it translates to an evening filled with great food and booze which will definitely equate to going over my calorie limit. After all of the work I've done though, I have SO earned it!

    Week 4: 212.0

    Week 13: 214.8

    This Weeks Loss: 0.6 pounds
    Total Challenge Loss: 3.2 pounds
Weight Loss Remaining to Goal: 46.8 lbs

    Strengths: None

Struggles: Didn't go to the gym, not enough water, didn't stick to low carb plan, motivation totally gone

Goal for the week: 3500 calories through excercise, drink my water, stick to my LC plan

What a difference a week makes. This week has been terrible, really bad. My motivation has disappeared, just gone. I've had a lot on my mind and been feeling really low. And I don't eat well when I feel this way.

My revised goal is 205 pounds. 9.8 pounds shouldn't be a problem if I can find my motivation.

    Good luck everyone!

You can do it @Pany! Just remember how you feel when you look at that scale and the number is lower than last time! That'll help motivate you
