ok guys well done on any losses this week... if you gained id ask you now NOT to let it get you discouraged... work hard for the week ahead and you will see results..
this weeks main challenge is
again drink ALL 8 glasses of water DAILY!!!!!! (this WILL help)
log ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING you eat and complete your diary DAILY!!!
Cut down on 1 thing that you feel is hindering your weightloss e.g chocolate.. bread.. sweets and replace them with fruit
make sure 1/3 of your dinner plate is made up of veg or salad
walk 7 miles this week (if you walk everyday anyway just walk for an extra 10/15 mins and this should make up the 7 miles)
come on here as much as possible because the support is great and will help a lot if your feeling down or feel like giving up...
also look out for the mini challenges they will be set daily
have a great week and everytime you feel like that bar of choc or sweets remember how GOOD it feels to lose and BAD you feel after that bar of choc... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

I can do that challenge... I think nuts are more my downfall, even though they are good for you, too many means cal gain. Good luck everyone. Lost one pound this week and I am happy with that.0

Monday morning is always the time to start over on a good foot. Today I will exercise hard and eat right. This will give me a good feel for the week. Go for it everyone!!!!0

great...I think that if you truly put in your diary everything that goes into your mouth you truly see what is going on, great challenge. and water is huge...drink drink drink. ..walking super..great time of year to let that cool brisk air hit your face..and sign on to mfp much as possible only we can hold our self accountable for our actions...and this is the best support I have ever had as far as health and fitness go...i feel love in my heart for each of you even though we have not met personally..i feel as though we are connected. So here is to a healthy and supportive week.0

Just joined the group today and like the idea of the challenges! I am have a major sweet tooth! So I am going to try and give that up this week.0

Just read the challenge (i couldn't find it, hehe :$)
Great challenge - i'm going to try my hardest to give up potatoes. Drink 8+ glasses of water a day and try and add a 20min+ walk to my exercise plan

ok here goes... the challenge for this week its gonna be a little different i think we do need a little boost to kick start the weight loss..
-DRINK ALL YOUR WATER (AT LEAST 10 GLASSES)
-FOR THIS WEEK I WOULD LIKE YOU ALL TO TRY 1 CARB FREE DAY.. PREFERABLE THURSDAY BEFORE WEIGH IN..(FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO DO CARB FREE JUST GIVE SOMETHING UP THAT HINDERS YOUR L0SS) CAN ALL THE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGERS PLEASE POST SOME RECIPES FOR OUR NEW MEMBERS TO GIVE THEM SOME IDEAS...
-TRY BURN 3500 CALORIES IN A WEEK(3500 CALS = 1LB) IF THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE JUST BURN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN..

Great challenges! I am not going to do a carb free day though...I found it was just a quick fix last time around that didn't stick (that is just me) but I will be mindful of my carbs...does that work?

I always do low/no carbs on thursdays and have been really good on my water lately so gunna focus on the BURN!

AND WHY YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND SLIM( this might give us the motivation for another week)
burn 3000 cals
Do not go over on your cals for the whole week
no junk for 6 days
ALSO CHECK IN WITH EACH OTHER ANY CHANCE WE GET
oh and before i forget DRINK ALL YOUR WATER..

Good challenge. Looking into why we are doing this might make us more accountable. Good thinking. Something I had to do when I was in WW many years ago was to make a story line showing where I would (want) to be at certain dates. for ex in 4 weeks -5 lbs, birthday (5 Lbs less) and so on. I found that helpful. Maybe if another longer challenge is set after valentines, we could each do something like that.0

cut out sweets for at least 5 days..
COMPLETE YOUR FOOD DIARY EVERYDAY ... LOG EVERYTHING!!!!
NO CHEAT DAYS THIS WEEK.... ITS OUR SECOND LAST WEEK SO GIVE IT SOCKS!!!!
walk 15 miles in 5 days (if you already walk everyday just up the intensity or add an extra mile or both)
REMEMBER TO DRINK AT LEAST 8 GLASSES OF WATER EVERYDAY!!
KEEP SODIUM DOWN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
INSTEAD OF REACHING FOR SOMETHING SWEET AFTER YOU EAT GRAB A PIECE OF FRUIT..
COME ON GUYS WE ONLY HAVE 2 WEEKS LEFT AND IF WE ARE REALLY GOOD AND DONT CHEAT OR GIVE INTO TEMPTATION WE COULD LOSE SOME SERIOUS POUNDS.... GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!!!!!!!

Here are my personal challenges
1) Eat a total 5 fruit & vegetables a day
2) Exercise 30 minutes a day
3) Water, water, water
4) Log all my food
5) Do the daily mini Challenges
Let's see how this goes for a week. I have really been lacking in the fruit & veg department. As for 2, 3, & 4 those I can usually get done but for some reason I forget about the daily challenges. I will work harder on trying to get the challenges in starting today.0 -
Here are my mini challenges
When I look in the cupboard for something to pick on I will go for decaffeinate tea.
I will start my exercise DVD and do it every day starting on Sunday
I will use a smaller plate and limit my portions
I will continue to log all my food honestly because this is what has been truly working. so HONEST logging.

My mini's:
1. Drink water. More water. LOTS of water!
2. No eating after 9 p.m.... even if I think it's "healthy" stuff; and eat breakfast EVERY day.
3. Kick everyone off the TV at home, so I can do an exercise video EVERY day.
4. Encourage my daughter everyday because she just joined MFP too!!!
5. Find some healthy recipes for dinner each night.
6. Drink MORE water!!!
Let's go everybody... not much time left until "V-Day".... work hard, motivate eachother, and let's KICK SOME BUTT! xo0 -
Hey,
My personal challenge is to make sure i actually exercise, Lately i haven't been bothered!!!
So im allowed 2 days off and 5 days of exercise.
Also i've been struggling in the evening, i'll just eat what the other half eats which aint good!
Bringing back my will power LOL :-p
