I just finished week 2 today, and I know week 3 adds in 3 min runs. I feel fine on the lower body when I was running the 90 seconds for week 2, but I couldn't get catch my breath while running. I was going at 4.7 for the first 2 intervals then went down to 4.5.

Are there any techniques you suggest. Keep in mind I am 281 lb, not light on the feet  but giving it a go! I don't have asthma, but it felt like that. Thanks for the help!!!

I'm not an expert by any means but I would suggest slowing WAY down. Once your body becomes more accustomed to the running then you can work on speed. When I started I started jogging at a 4 and found that I was having a hard time catching my breath so I slowed right down to 3-3.5. I'm concentrating on finishing the program and working on my speed afterwards.
