    Hey there!
I actually used to work for GNC. :) It really depends on what your goal is, whether or not L-Carnitine is a good supplement for you. Basically its main use is to build protein in your muscles which can be good if you are trying to tone up, but when used too often it can make you essentially more "buff" than you may like. If you are trying to just lose weight, I would suggest a fat burner to help burn fat and increase your calories burned during exercise. But like I said, it really depends on your goal! If you have any other questions I would be happy to help! Good luck!!

I would say if you are going to use it at all, use it when you are 5-10 pounds from your goal weight. For now, you should use a good fatburner to help burn more calories when you are working out and also eat a lot of protein. The only thing is, if you do these and are not working out it wouldnt do anything and the protein could actually keep you from losing weight. So basically, if you are working out at least 3 times a week, eating protein like chicken or fish or even protein bars once or twice a day will really help. How much weight are you trying to lose?

Yeah then I would start L-Carnitine, if you want to, at 135 probably. But honestly you really dont need it unless you are trying to bulk up and have a very consistent exercise schedule. Like i said, look into fat burners!

What fat burner would you recommend?

Right now I am using Slimquick's Razor Fat Burner. I only take it on days that I exercise though. If you have never taken a fatburner before I would recommend taking a less intense one because the Razor Fat Burner is very strong. SlimQuick is a good brand though. You can find that anywhere, Target, Walmart, GNC, etc. Other than that, I would say go to GNC or whatever Nutrition Store is near you and find a fat burner there that is in a pill form or powder form, but make sure you read the bottle and ask questions if you need to!
