What certs do you have? Do you find that it helps you in any way?
I find that in my actual job my certs don't do much for me. When I speak about something, I think it gives me more or a firm footing to stand on, but that is about it. I also like them because if I ever look for a job, I figure its good to have it.
My certs:
Windows 2003 MCSE
Comp TIA Sec+
Cisco CCNP/CCDP
going to go for ITIL.

Looking at getting Lion certification for Mac though in the near future.0 -
Current: RHCE, RHCSA, Network+, A+
Expired: RHCT, CCNA, MCP, CNE, CNA
Do they help? I have found that it is frequently the difference in whether or not an individual gets the interview opportunity and it can influence starting pay. It does not get you the job.0 -
A+, Network+, took classes for the Windows XP/Vista MCSE but wasn't able to pass the test(s).
Also have PeopleSoft certifications which are probably expired ...0
