I am pretty sore this morning, after doing day one yesterday. I am just curious if any of you have done the next day while you were sore.. My legs are arms are the most sore, abs are not sore at all surprisingly. I plan on doing day two, and doing only what I can, squats and push ups will be the hardest for me.

The backs of my arms (triceps) are what are hurting me the most. - Pushups! And I even did the Girrly ones. LOL
Keep at it, this will eventually be a thing of the past!

I did & it got better.... When I first started my husband thought that I was lying when I said I couldn't pick up our baby. lol!
Push through unless you feel injured. But yeah it was intense.
  • My Day 2 was actually last night and I just still did the dvd. It hurt...but wasn't over the top. I'm more sore this morning than yesterday...but I suppose that is to be expected. On the plus side, I noticed a bit more endurance last night as opposed to the first night. I was a little surprised!

Im not only doing this but going to the gym as well :( so this morning my THIGHS were horrible sore! Trying to get up out of the chair hurt, so instead of skipping video Im skipping gym today and going to push through the pain! No pain no gain right? :) Just know your limits...if you are worried about it then just do what you can without hurting. Im hoping it will get easier!
  • I started 30DS last Wed. The first 2 days after I was sore! I just pushed through it and my arms are a lot better. I'm not flexible at all so my thighs still hurt a bit as I'm doing the workout, as well as my knee!! Geez! lol Still gonna push through tho! My stay with level 1 for a little longer than the 10 days!

I just did day two of the shred. It was easier this time, even feeling like I was hit by a bus!

I couldn't do many push ups though, there was a very sharp pain in my right shoulder :/
  • Just done day 4 on level 1, only thing thats sore now is my thighs when i go upstairs lol, hope to feel normal soon :ohwell:

I agree! It was so much easier today, I was actually able to keep up (except for the push ups, and some of the cardio). I pushed through the pain and I actually feel better. :)

I foudn that the hardest part was the squat and arm raises at the same time lol. Im a bit sore but it could be because i worked out a lot yesterday (did aquafit and elliptical stuff as well) the 30 minutes isnt enough for me :P

I think pushing through the soreness helps you feel less sore. Also, Epsom salt baths are great for easing aching muscles.
  • The only thing that is hurting me are my legs... They are so darn sore that it hurts to walk.... LOL But im going into day 3 level 1 so im just going to push through it... Hope it gets easier for everyone :)

I was miserably sore on the third day. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do the workout, but it was easier last night than I thought it would be. I think today (day 4) will be even better.

Last night (D3) hurt so bad, but just around my chest. Those muscles couldn't hardly move without feeling like someone was ripping them apart. I think tonight will be much much better. I think I'm gonna warm up my sore muscles with some yoga on the kinect before jumping into 30DS tonight. That seemed to help on D2.

Usually when i start the workout its like the soreness goes away
Until afterwards when i have to actully hold on the the stair banister for dear
Life while going up and down. Hopefully the soreness will subside before level two

OMG, that's funny. I do the same thing. I workout in the family room in the basement. And then make my husband put the kids to bed since that's up TWO flights of stairs LOL. Oddly, I find going down the stairs even harder!

You need to take it a wee bit easy if you feel pain but feel the difference between the muscle soreness you would expect from exercising hard and an actual injury. If in doubt don't push yourself

EXACTLY- if it's muscle soreness, work through it. But if it's PAIN, then stop. Be sure that you're using the right form for the exercises as you can injure yourself if you do them wrong. Most of level 1 is fairly easy on form. But level 2, if you don't take your time and do the exercises properly, you can really cause some pain for yourself.
