They seem to be a less expensive version of Medifast. Anyone ever tried them? Are they tasty? What about the nutrition? Are they comparable?

Well I just received my 1st order yesterday. My coworker let me try some of her stuff prior to placing my order. I've try spicy cheesy pasta, pretzel twist, creamy cheesecake, crispy fudge and graham bar and milk chocolate crunches.

Like Medifast some of it is really good and some it so so. I poured over the nutritional value of all the items I actually purchased because a lot of their stuff has higher sodium and carbs. I made sure I was buying items that are very comparable to Medifast items. Plus I wanted to add some variety to my diets. Especially on the salty snack front. I brought chips, pretzel etc. They have other brands too on diet direct. As long as you watch your calories, carbs etc and I don't think it matter too much what brands you eat.

I have seen other meal replacement products out there but I researched the science behind many of them and found when I read the clinical studies done for Medifast and teh amount of time it has been on the market (30+ years) and it was created by doctors and was only available by prescription until about 10 years ago and is used and studied at a place like John Hopkins U... well for me it was enough to make me decide I just didn't want to go cheaper if it couldn't stand up to the science and history of this product and quality. That's just me and what's important to me and why I have stayed with Medifast meal replacements even during maintenance.

I agree. I have a friend who ordered what she thought was similar products but keep in mind all the research and time it took for MF to make these products just "perfect" for what the body needs in this process. My friend was able to keep the carbs and was a little light on the protein with other products but the money she was saving not buying MF, she certainly spent on the vitamin portions. Make sure that you look at the vitamin/mineral and sodium content of the food you are replacing because these are just as essential as the carbs/protein fats etc... btw, my friend when back to MF after the dollars on quality vitamins she was forking out to supplement.,,

I have tried them. Some of their stuff I loved more than MF, and my Mom loved their bars too. Their plan is a little more forgiving. I'm trying to reduce my carbs more than that though, and doing a combo now of MF with EAS and some Atkins meal replacements.

I have a lot of WonderSlim stuff I'd be willing to sell to anyone interested in checking it out. It's probably worth close to $400 and I don't want to do that plan at the moment.

For anyone interested: Message me if you want info about it and let me know your 'offer' because I was just about to post it on Craigslist!
