I ordered the Wii

Of all days for my Wii to get delivered, it happened to be raining out and the box was soaking wet! Well, that's just how my whole day went. Of course, this is the weekend I have to go away and won't be able to play with it

The Wii is hooked up to the internet and I'm ready to role! I had a really good time setting up my Mii character. Her face is fat with a crazy, hard exercsing expression. As I start losing weight, her face might just become slimmer.

As for games, I should be receiving Dance 3. Does anyone own the EA Sports Active 2? Are there any games you would recommend or not? How about on-line games?

Also, the sensor bar. I put mine on top of the TV, does it depend on how high your television stand is?

I'm not sure how it works, but I think you can play on line against each other? I love competition and if anyone is interested let me know. At least it will keep my hands out of the cookie jar!

We have our sensor bar on top of the tv, not sure it matters the height or since when you set it up it adjusts accordingly. I have to say...with the Wii Play that comes with the system my favorite game is the cow riding one. My favorite games my son has are...the Rayman (not sure which version, but has a cow throwing game which is very fun) I also like Mario Kart as it is the only one I have a fighting chance on with my husband and son. I haven't bought any exercise games for it as I am planning an xbox in the summer, and my son has his wii in his room, and we have another one in the bedroom (which doesn't play the discs anymore, even though this is a cheap and easy fix) that we use to watch netflix in there but is useless for getting exercise games. I am curious about what exercise games are good, and more importantly which ones to avoid...

I hated the Wii Active game...I found that it did not accurately record my movements which made me angry because I'm an overachiever. I really enjoy the Wii Fit games the most...they really help with your core. The sport resort is good when you play the running or the fighting games or even the tennis and bowling.

I'm sure you will have a good time playing all the games!

Mine isn't connected to the internet... may look at getting a wireless dongle for it :)

I've just ordered Zumba Fitness 2, with the belt... should be here tomorrow so will let you know how that goes hah!

We got the Wii Fit Plus last spring, and for months, I did the Free Step while watching cooking shows. Frankly, it took me a couple weeks before I lost enough to be able to use it, but once I did, I was pretty dedicated. I don't use it much anymore, even though I got Just Dance 3 for Christmas--the kids use it more often than I do!
