Sorry to post late. I've been crazy busy. Don't forget to log weight! If you need the link for the spreadsheet, message me!
1. Eat five full servings of vegetables 3 days this week! Vegetables are a great low-calorie and filling snack. If you're not a fan of them on their own, try sneaking them into your food. Add some spinach to your morning smoothie- you won't even taste it! Feel free to post other ways you managed to sneak veggies into your day. You can do this!
2. Today, take 10 minutes out of your day to meditate. Silence your phone, turn off the lights, and put on some calming music if you so please. Don't think about anything that may stress you out. These ten minutes are for you and only you! Meditation reduces stress when has a plethora of negative effects on the body and mind. So beat the stress today; relax!
3. Sneak in exercises throughout the day! Park far so you have to walk. Standing still? Do caff raises. Have to bend down to get something? Get it; and do 10 squats. Doing this on a daily basis will improve your overall fitness without much of a time commitment! Feel free to post any additional sneaky workouts you were able to fit in.
4. No soda this week! Diet, tonic water, regular, etc... don't touch it! Carbonation in soda leeches calcium from your bones and weakens them. Say no to soda and strengthen your whole body!
5. 40 crunches a day! Work those Ab’s!

So sorry I also have been out of touch. Way too much going on in my life. To be honest, I even forgot about the group link. I have not been logging my weight due to a somewhat unsavory note I received from an MFP person who implied that if I am that small I don't belong here. I will keep checking in as time goes on.
An update, I have a new grandson as of January 19th, a conference to attend for work this week, and I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy and pelvic repair on Feb 9th. So I am prepping for that.
I will try to do a better job of staying in touch.0 -

Awesome! That is my Dad's birthday! Congrats! So sorry about your surgeries, though. I have assisted in some and they seem like rough recoveries. Well, that is just a bunch of crap, that someone would say that to you! I hope to God it wasn't someone on this group! Don't listen to them! If you need to lose a few, you need to lose a few. That's so not right. Other people don't know how tall you are, or why you want to lose some weight! I think that you are doing so awesome to want to feel better for your family. Delete them if they are a "friend". You just worry about getting things ready for your surgeries, make some food that can be frozen so your hubby doesn't have to cook you pizza every night or run to McDonald's. lol And snuggle that new baby! Everyone in this group has been wonderful! So, we will be here for you no matter what!0 -
Hey all! How is everyone doing? I have been slacking on the crunches this week. I have done them a few days, but not all. Yesterday I worked all day just to get home and then get called back out to work. So, I skipped my workout. Feeling a bit bummed out about that but I am going to hit it hard today after work!0
