Hello finally a group that is over 40. I am struggling and need support and help. I started 3 mos ago and have only lost 7 pounds. My daily intake of calories before I started MFP was 4,000+(speciality coffee) I am now on a 1200 calorie diet and I feel starved. I am not loosing much weight. I am looking for Ideas and support. Please add me as a friend.

    Hey there I also dropped my weightloss to 1200 but felt starved and was hardly losing, now I increased it too 1300 and feel fine and losing 1 -2 lbs a week....oh and welcome!

    Hi ladies, I am on 1200 calories also. I have been with MFP for 11 months and have lost 26lbs,but had lost 33, so I have been boucing up and down for the last 3 months. I have 50 lbs to go, so I look forward to any help you have to offer, and I am here for you!! Red

    Wow I am another 1200 a day but according to my weight, MFP says I should be 1430. I don't feel starved though, I eat graze all day, i just count all my calories.

    Anywho! I need a group for 40+ I am 42, mess of kids and the typical yoyo weight issue. I am 9lbs from my 1st goal and 19lbs from my ultimate goal. Not looking to be skinny, just fit and healthy lookin!

    Hi there! welcome to the group :smile:

    I'm on 1500 calories per day as I just get too hungry on less, so far I'm averaging between 300 to 500 grams of weight loss per week. It's going to be slow and steady for me as I'm finding it harder and harder to drop the excess poundage as I get older. One of the really sucky things about middle age. Feel free to add me!
