I remind myself that it's a VERY temporary feeling. I've ruined work with the "I don't give a %$#*" feeling and this past month I finally defeated it.

Its an association game. When you feel that tugging urge to comfort yourself with food, you have to slowing start associating that feeling as a trigger for something else. We tend to have a trigger and then a reaction. Changing your reaction is how to keep this cycling from happening over and over.

Thanks hun I appreciate def will not let my PMS get the best of me next month or the rest of this time 2 meals down 4 to go and Im excited!! :
  • I crave sugar and salt more, so I have my bars, puffs and brownies during that time. I'll have bulkier greens, like broccoli, that keep the tummy full and help stave off constipation. I drink a little more water because I retain. I make sure I take my morning walk, even if I don't feel like it, because sweating makes me feel less "blegh." Like every other day, I journal to remind myself why I'm doing this, how far I've come and what's ahead.
