Ok, started by just reading MDA over and over. Went no grain on my own. Attended PB seminar. Read 21 day transformation (after about 20 days of doing it alone).

Does PB have more or more detail that I "need" to know more than the 21 day transformation book? I probably will do the cookbook just for more ideas (starting to get into a bit of a rut but ok with it so far).

If you have all three - would you recommend PB in addition to the other books - or any other recommendations you might have for reading/media etc.

the Primal Blueprint goes into far more detail than the 21 day transformation book - both are excellent reads. The PB book is definitely more scientific - if you just want the bare quick facts and not the whys and hows as much, the 21 day is perfect for you.

    Hope this helps!

Both of those are good ... also Make It Paleo by Hayley Mason & Bill Staley. A background on their journey to good health as well as fantastic recipes.

So many but here are some to borrow from your local library and then decide which you want to own:

    You know about Mark Sisson
Gary Taubes - Good Calories, Bad Calories
Gary Taubes - Why we get fat and what to do about it (Highly recommend)
Ray Audette - Neanderthin (Highly recommend)
Rob Wolf - The Paleo Solution
Loren Cordain - The Paleo Answer
Loren Cordain - The Paleo Diet
Christian B. Allan, Wolfgang Lutz - Life Without Bread: How a Low-Carbohydrate Diet Can Save Your Life
Dr. Atkins and the Drs. Eades (Atkins & Protein Power) - These books are not Paleo but started me on this path - the Drs. Eades are coming around to a more Paleo approach.

    Enjoy!

Add to that list 'Diet Evolution' by Dr. Steven Gundry - basically paleo/primal with modifications based on nutritional longevity research.

Well Fed by Melissa Joulwan is an awesome cookbook. It's pricey, but well worth it. Not a single bad dish yet.
  • I went to marksdailyapple.com & subscribed to the email. That allowed me to download books too! The PB 101, PB fitness, & cookbooks.

I followed the link to Amazon to read the rave reviews of the cookbook ... then one of the reviews had the name of her blog, which is: The Clothes Make the Girl

    Fascinating!

I'm reading the Protien Power Lifepath by Drs' Eades and I highly recommend it. I'm halfway through it an everything in there so far seems to mesh well with paleo/primal even though it's not specifically called that.
