Hi guys, My name is Madeline. I'll get going on weight loss and exercise, and then all of a sudden I just stop and gained the weight again. I don't know how to continue and keep progressing. Any tips and suggestions would help!
My previous weight was 163, then I lost 5lbs and weight 157 and I gained 3lbs again and now I am 160lb. I wanted to be 140 by July

Hi Madeline! Are you using all the tools available on this site? Are you logging your food, drinking your water and tracking your weight and inches? I had lost about 35 lbs. and then got stuck for about six months. I would gain and lose the same 5 lbs. for that entire 6 months. In Jan. I decided enough was enough!!! I started a 90 day challenge, set a goal for that 90 days and decided that weight plus was going to be gone forever!! I have lost 9 lbs. and 5.5 inches since Jan. 2nd and want to lose another 16 lbs. by April 2nd (the end of the challenge). I have a goal poster in my bathroom which hopefully will keep me on track.0

wow! that's amazing! I drink tons of water, and I log my food in and track weight and inches. I just keep having those lazy days. I would just like to see a healthier me.0

Madeline, I feel like I am in the exact same boat as you! I started the last year at 167, lost and gained all through the spring, over the summer finally lost 17 lbs, only to make my way back up to 157 over the fall! It's very frustrating.... But I'm trying to turn that into positive energy/motivation. I'm tired of working so hard and then losing all of my efforts due to laziness. I don't want my work to be in vain, so every time I think about straying too far from the path I think about that frustration! But don't forget that occasionally you deserve breaks or little treats. If you're too strict on yourself, you'll never make it.
Feel free to add me! I'm new here too.0 -
All I can say is that you have to make this a lifestyle and not a diet. I have tried to lose the same 30 pounds for like 5 years, ever since my senior year in high school and I am just now getting to the point where I don't want to put bad stuff in my body anymore. I have cravings and sometimes I let myself have them, but mostly you have to be diligent in your nutrition. Log and plan your meals. I feel accomplished when I've eaten all the stuff I've planned in a day.0
