New game coming out on Tuesday the 7th, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It's kind of a prequel to an MMO 38 Studios is working on, but it's definitely a fully featured, standalone title, featuring a huge open world and 200-300 hours of gameplay. There's a demo out on the PC/PS3/360, allows you to play through the first part of the game and then drops you into the world and gives you 45 minutes to explore and work on a few quests. World map seems pretty substantial, don't know if it's as big as a Skyrim or Oblivion, but it looks pretty big. Combat is also very fluid, akin to a God of War lite as far as mechanics are concerned.
You also get some exclusive Mass Effect 3 gear for playing it if that's something you're interested in.

My husband was telling me about this yesterday, about how he was interested in it. Apparently last night after I went to bed, he read some more reviews, and he couldn't help himself. It will be delivered to our house on release day. :laugh: I said he's nuts, since we're already playing Skyrim and he also has Dragon Age: Origins which he's not completed yet.0

There is a demo available for download. I downloaded it on Steam the other evening, but haven't gotten around to try it out.0
