Does anyone else double up their weeks?

I've found that I do each week at least twice. If I do them once, when I progress to the new week my body isn't ready, but doing each week twice seems to be the right amount of preparation. So here's to C25K, the 18-week program.

High five! I'm also doing this as an 18 week program. I am very overweight and completely out of shape, so I'm trying to really ease my body into running; I've never really tried to run before. If I find that when I get further along it seems way easier (which I can't actually imagine... Week 2 is kicking my *kitten*), I may try to progress a little faster, but for now I'm very happy with the repeated week plan. Good for you for taking it slowly and listening to your body.0

I know, I'm in the exact same boat. I actually tried C25K back in September, and I remember on the first day I had chest pains so badly I had to stop halfway through. It was very, very scary. I went walking every night that whole month and tried it again in October, and it was so much easier! I stuck with it pretty well until November, when I started slacking off, but I'm picking back up again. Just finished doing Week 4 again (for the first time), and I managed to get through it, but I'm definitely not ready for Week 5 yet.
It DOES get easier, I promise. Soon enough you'll be kicking Week 2's butt instead of the other way around... and then 3, and 4, etc.0 -
I'm on Week 4...I considered repeating weeks 1-3...Day 1 of week 4 was insanely hard for me. But day 2 (yesterday) wasn't nearly as bad. I'm going to see how Day 3 goes tomorrow. I may end up repeating it but I'm not sure yet.0

I don't think I will do a full double week, but I have added a couple extra days to each week to make sure that I am ready to move to the next week. I am on w2d1 and it was okay. The last interval I had to slow down from 5.1 to 4.9 on the treadmill but i got through it.0

I have doubled my weeks up, too. I run at least 6 or 7 days before moving to the next level. My strategy is to move on when the level I am on starts to feel easy to me. By then, I am bored with the routine anyway. If I rush, I will hate running again, however, this strategy seems to keep me looking forward to it.0
