30 Day Shred

I've done it. It is a fabulous workout, especially since it is only a little over 20 minutes, but I really prefer group fitness classes or just walking/jogging/running on my own.0

hey, i started doing the 30DS in October but only did it about 50% of the time, so I started last week and committed to doing it everyday, more for my own interest to see the results after 30 days straight. So i'm sticking to ten days level1, ten days level2 etc. I'm blogging about it too which really helps me stay on track. So, I did level 1 for 10 days, and then I did level 2 for 9 days until my insane holiday travel commenced (Out of state in MI for 4 days for Thanksgiving, Back to MI again last weekend, and Michigan AGAIN for 4 days this weekend... Thank heaven I will be staying in Chicago for Christmas)! hahah so... i have postponed my 30DS'ing until Next week where I will complete the last 10 days of level 3. Then I will go back to doing cardio and I think I will try to do a real 30DS in January or February when I will have the 30 continuous days without interruption.0

I also love her 6 Week 6 Pack Abs video =D Sounds like you rocked it pretty good, though!0 -
its funny, because my measurements havent really changed that much, but i can see a difference in my body. so im excited to see what i will look like if i do it altogether :O) yay for jillian!0
-
I just finished day three of level 1. Love it so far! It's amazing how much easier it was today on day three than it was just two days ago!0
-
I'm about to start this and I gotta say I'm a bit terrified, LOL. I know Jillian has quite the "drill sergeant" style but I think that may be just what I need to get jump started.0

I found this on amazon uk for 5 gbp plus free postage, as i got a 25 quid voucher for christmas I am going to take the plunge & order it. i'm not a big fan of dvd's as i know how lazy i am at home but everyone is talking about this 30ds so much, for 5 pounds i can at least give it a try.0
-
i made it about 3/4 of the way through it the first time... then thanksgiving hit and all the rest of the holidays... lol and i stopped.
i will be starting it again in feb i think. i have started running now and i am seeing the weight fall off with that. so i think ill get down another 10 pounds or so and then do the 30DS again to really make big changes in my body. it worked wonders the first time, i cant wait to see what it will look like when i have less fat covering all the muscles!0 -
What do you ladies think about doing 30 Day Shred along with running? I want to try 30DS to work on toning and strength, but I just can't give up my running. Anyone have advice? Maybe switch on and off?0
-
i would say do 30ds 3-4 times a week either along WITH your daily running.. or try alternating it every day. thats my plan for when i do it in feb.0
-
Okay kids!~ I did level 1 this morning and I'm going to alternate the 30DS and treadmill intervals so I won't be doing 30DS every single day this time. I also bought Ripped in 30 over the weekend, so I will do that in February! :O) YAY!0
-
Nice Jenn! I've done level 1 three times last week and ran the alternate days. So far it's kicked my butt (actually mostly my weak weak arms...:embarassed: ) Going to try for 4 times this week, and then move to level 2.0
-
oh sweet! we are doing it together :O) i ran today so i am doing level 1 again tomorrow. im going to do level 2 next week and then the last 2 weeks im going to do level 3.0
-
Yay! we're right on the same track! I also ran today, so it's level 1 tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll get Ripped in 30 for Feb as well!0
-
yes!!!! do it~ so we can want to die together! lol0
-
whoa. It might take me a while to get comfortable with level 2. It really kicked my *kitten* this morning. It's amazing how 20 minutes can make me want to die! So much different than running. I can run for an hour straight and not feel as beaten as these 20 minutes make me feel!0
-
it is tough the first couple times.. but then i actually like level two better than level one now. i have yet to try level 3, so we will see how i feel about that one next week. but it is a hell of a workout.0
-
i am finding that i dont lose weight while i do this workout... i sometimes lose inches, but i definitely LOOK and FEEL my body is different and i like that. i just need to get my head out of the number on the scale mode. lol0
-
Taking a big breath .... jumping in. I haven't opened the video, don't know how much of it I can accomplish, but I'm determined to see if I can conquer some fraction of it.0
-
how did it go??? did you do it? i hope you loved it even if it was hard... its okay! its not supposed to be easy. keep us posted on how youre doing! :O)0
-
I'm shredding again... and loving it! The first time it just made me angry, but two months later I've gotten so much stronger- I can actually get through the vast majority without a break.
Jenn- I still don't know how you do it with 5# weights... I have 3# & am alright until the anterior (shoulder) raises- circuit 3 of L1. OUCH!
I agree with Channing- how does she make me feel so out of it in 20 minutes???0 -
The 5lb weights are pretty intense, thats for sure, but i manage. haha i started using them because my upstairs neighbor had them and let me borrow them... hahaha little did i know i was going to want to cry after the first time i used them. but now i am used to them so i bought my own :O)0

I always start it and then I stop after two weeks. I get bored quickly.
^ Hello twin, this is me. I would LOVE to get through all 30 days, especially when I see peoples' awesome results. I just don't have the attention span to do the same workout for an entire month.0 -
I did it a few months ago and now I dip into it a few times a month. I love it. 20 minutes and I'm wrecked.0
-
I love hearing about all these stories! Super cool! I am doing the 6 packs in 6 weeks 2x/week and is think to add the extreme shed & shred an other 2 days per week. Wed is my yoga day and my weekends are a bit up in the air.
I have done the 6-pack one for about 4 weeks I think, and I am feeling sooo much stronger. The scale is not reflecting the change, but I feel so much more toned in shoulders, back and abs!
I love mixing it up and think this is the best way to go to avoid injuries or muscular imbalance!
If any of you are swimmers I think that would be an awesome addition to this hardcore workout!0 -
Okay, I'm sold. I love Jill and I've been thinking about getting this since I first heard about it! Looking forward to seeing some results!0
-
My husband and I are workign on it. LOL.. its slow going. We started about 2 months ago.. but with taking days off, and going out of town, it has taken more than 30 days! We have about 5 days left of level 3.
We both love it, though. I haven't measured recently, but I kNOW I have gotten stronger. I could barely do a pushup before and now I can.0 -
I bought it right after Christmas to start for the new year.. and then injured my knee :explode:
Starting it as soon as the physical therapist okays it, though!!0 -
Ahhh, why did they take the links away?
