GOT THE 'HUNGRIES'?

What do you do when you are hungry & your calorie intake is almost to the daily limit? This evening was that way for me. It's the first time since I started MFP that it happened.

First I went in & got an Asian pear around 8 pm. That didn't do the trick, so I got a cup of whole grain Cheerios & 1/2 cup milk. That helped & I feel full but I can't help thinking that there could have been something better to eat.

Any suggestions? Appreciate any help.

  • About 1 Tblsp. of pistachios and a few apricots does it for me.

    low fat - no salt popcorn will "fill me up" when I get the munchies. I pop regular popcorn in a brown paper lunch bag in the microwave. 1/4 cup makes a pretty full bag. I don't measure, just pour so I'm guessing at the amount.

  • Thanks everyone! Forgot all about the popcorn & used it a lot when I was W/W a long time ago. :laugh:

    Gonna pick some up today if I can get out & walk. The ole' bod is feeling all the walking I've been doing since joining MFP! :ohwell:

    I eat alot of dill pickles and tomatoes but watch the salt intake. Also broccoli and cauliflower. I go for quantity so I will feel like I've eaten something instead of little things high in calories.

    I drink flavored water and maybe have a piece of fruit.
