What do you do on your rest days?

Today is Day 3 for me... rest day! I really don't like how there is a rest day 3 days into Turbo Fire... I KNOW why its there, I just am so pumped up to do another video that I'm sitting here thinking about tomorrow already! I do value rest days though, I work my body SO hard during the week that I earn my rest days. I will sometimes take a walk with the kids or a short (fun) bike ride, but never anything that is too intense. I know next week that I will be thankful for my rest day though!! :)

What do you do on your rest days?

    I try to do nothing but today is my rest day and I'm going to do an abs workout instead. I feel like I should be doing something.:ohwell:

    Rest! LOL. Sometimes I'm tempted to do an extra exercise, but I don't want to burn out or risk hindering performance on future workouts. You'll be back to zig-zag kneeing and turbo twisting in no time!

    I rested yesterday. I played Dance Central 2 for about 10 minutes but that was it. I don't know about anyone else but the day after a rest day I have alot more trouble getting back into it the next day. Ugh, Motivate! I know it is also hard since on Weds I will be at work from 6:30 to 6 and just want to go home eat dinner and sleep.

    HIIT 15 and sculpt 30 tonight!

    I figure that the rest days are there for a reason, so I am resting. I am a tad sore from the jumping yesterday in HIIT, so it is actually a good break...I do feel like I should be working out though :(
  • I did Core 20 today as I missed it on Sunday. I hate rest days because I don't get to eat as much from the calorie burns! SO hungry today and every Wednesday for the last few weeks I've gone over.

    I have lost every week the last few weeks though, so let's hope it doesn't catch up with me ;-).

    I totally understand what you mean. today is also my rest day. I am also on day 3. i was soooo tempted to workout today!!! I was PUMPED UP!!! But I just went ahead and rested. I did some light cardio with housework I guess? I feel better knowing that I will ready for tomorrow. YAY ME!!! I am so glad I found this group!

    I actually rest, I have class in the evening so it works out perfectly. Plus I think working out 6 days enough is fine. When I get to maintenance I hope to get to 5 days of week of actual working out and staying active doing fun things.

    REST ... or actually now that I think about it... I take that day to cook :) ...
  • I haven't had much success with rest days being middle of the week. I use Saturday as my rest day-that way I don't have to worry about risking not getting back into the workouts the next day. On Saturday, I'm usually running from here or there so I'm "resting" from working out but not so much from any activity so to speak.
