Since I started exercising regularly(last couple weeks) I have been having deep pain in my legs that burns and feels like the flesh is ripping off the bone. Does anybody else experience this? Any suggestions on what might help?

I get that too. I started walking super slow and now I'm up to 5 miles a day but...when I'm done I have to rub the 'parts' that ache or burn with lotion. Actually I start with a shower and rub the spots with Olay shower lotion then I use plain old lotion when I get out. I start out rubbing them slowly with my fingertips then harder, believe it or not, with my knuckles. The more I walk tho, the less I have those terrible pains. I wish I had a hot tub as I think it would be perfect for Fibro! Good luck to you!
  • I actually borrow liniment from my horse for pains like that. :embarassed: There are people liniments and rubs too, I'm sure, but I always have huge vats of the horse stuff around the barn, so I rarely buy different stuff for myself.

What is that liniment called and where would I get some? I need to do something. The pain is horrible and as I lose weight the more I want to do. I know to pace myself, but I have that ripping sensation without even getting up.
  • I have a few different kinds, but I think my (and my horse's) favorite is the Bigeloil. The gel is easier to handle than the liquid, since it doesn't drip as much, but both work well. Generally I can find it at my local Farm & Fleet, and I'd imagine a lot of other farm supply stores would have it, but you can also order it online.

Here's a url for it at Smartpak:

hsmithway, thanks for that tip, that is very interesting, we have a Farm and Tractor store, nearby, I am going to check that out. It's always exciting to hear new things from people. Have a great day. Red
