Smoking dreams... Anyone else?

Has anyone else experienced dreams in which they were smoking? I have them sometimes and they feel so real that I wake up disappointed in myself. Anyone with more experience, do they ever go away?

Hey again :-)
I had several of these dreams, very real and therefore frightening. I used to wake up feeling horrible and guilty. I thought I had had ONE...I really thought I had THAT ONE.
I got the advice from my doc and an MFP pal as to increase Vit C intake and increase exercise level to help get rid of the side effects of quitting much quicker. My bad dreams are gone now (week 5 of my quit)0 -
I had those in the beginning of my quit but they stopped by my second week.0

i have them all the time. more when i first quit, almost every night, which is weird because i NEVER used to dream about smoking. they used to upset me a lot in the beginning. i'm having less and less now, but even when i do have them, they don't bother me as much.0

I've had those too...how funny! I wake up all pissed off at myself until I wake up enough to realize that I really didn't smoke...*whew*. I'm a little over 4 weeks in at the moment, but I think the last one of those dreams I've had was a few weeks back.0

I had really vivid scary dreams when I was using the patch.0

The first night, I dreamed that I smoked and blew my start of quitting, but so far, not bad. I'm using the patch, but don't sleep with one on.
I used Chantix years ago, and had very real and very psychotic dreams from that....not good!0 -
For the first few months, I would have dreams about it, but I was also still coughing some phlem up that tasted like ashtray. Mine eventually did go away.0

I also had to stop using the patch while I was sleeping, bad dreams, hard to sleep, kept waking up.0

I to had Nightmares useing the patch! I had to take them off at night, That solved the problem.0

I've started on the quitting journey just recently. I have found that I have really wierd dreams every night but none so far about smoking.0

I started having them too when I started the patch, every single night and a restless sleep. I don't take it off because I've found that I have less of an urge to smoke if I keep it on overnight. I'm told the wierd dreams eventually stop.0

Oh I had Nightmares so bad I had to take them off. They didn't go away. I didn't take them off until after the first week.
The addiction was gone already but not the habit. so I really didn't have a problem with craving very bad .I just put one on first thing.
Gosh that has been 11 months already. I can't believe it still I beat that aweful Habit!!!0
